Abstract: A video data processing apparatus provided according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a processor and a blending circuit. The processor provides a first set of parameters according to a first channel identification signal and a second set of parameters according to a second channel identification signal. The blending circuit blends a first image into first video data at a first timing according to the first set of parameters and a second image into second video data at a second timing according to the second set of parameters. A time difference between the first timing and the second timing is less than a frame period of the first video data.

Abstract: Methods and systems for transmitting content during a networked conference. In an embodiment, a method is provided that includes establishing a network connection between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE, generating a video signal at the first UE, selecting content at the first UE, transmitting the video signal from the first UE over a first network channel, and transmitting the content from the first UE over a second network channel. The method also includes receiving the video signal on the first channel at the second UE, receiving the content on the second channel at the second UE, combining the video signal and the content into a combined video signal at the second UE, and displaying the combined video signal on a display device at the second UE.

Abstract: An approach to managing images in a registry constructed as a multi-layer file system are disclosed. The method comprises receiving a first request for downloading a first image, the first request comprising a download policy. The method also comprises obtaining a plurality of compositions of layers of the first image, wherein content of layers specified by each composition of layers collectively constitute content of the first image. The method also comprises selecting a composition of layers from the plurality of compositions of layers of the first image based on the download policy. The method also comprises sending content of layers specified by the selected composition of layers.

Abstract: A display device employs a patterned quantum rod layer having pixel elements driven by pixel splitting to generate a privacy viewing mode. The display device includes a patterned quantum rod layer having first pixel elements including first quantum rods wherein the first quantum rods are aligned in a first alignment direction, and second pixel elements including second quantum rods wherein the second quantum rods are aligned in a second alignment direction different from the first alignment direction. An electronic controller is configured to perform pixel splitting whereby the electronic controller drives the first pixel elements and the second pixel elements such that the patterned quantum rod layer has an off-axis luminance different from an on-axis luminance to generate a privacy viewing mode. The first alignment direction may be oriented 90° relative to the second alignment direction.

Abstract: The invention is to provide a system and method for switching screens from overview and preview. The method comprises multitudes of overviewed jobs that are selected on an overview zone for the objective image. Multitudes of selected jobs are displayed on a select preview zone for the overview zone. Multitudes of selected jobs are generated for the select job pictures. The corresponding previewed settings are added to the corresponding previewed settings. The system comprises an overview module for displaying a previewed digital picture. Set modules is for selecting and edit settings for several jobs on the previewed digital picture. A preview module is for storing several selected jobs on the set module and displaying several select jobs respectively on the preview module.
