Abstract: An ergonomic surgical loupe consists of a housing, an objective lens, a mirrored Littrow prism, an ocular lens, and an adjustment mechanism. Light travels through the objective lens, is reflected through the Littrow prism, passes through the ocular lens and strikes the user's eye, enabling a 60 degree viewing angle for performing dental work or similar procedures. Occupational strain on the neck and back of the user is reduced by allowing the user to maintain an upright, neutral head and back position while performing work significantly below eye level.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a hardware-in-the-loop simulation system and method for computer vision. An embodiment of the disclosed system comprises a software simulation and a hardware simulation. The software simulation includes a virtual scene and an observed object that are generated by virtual reality software. The virtual scene images are obtained at different viewpoints. The hardware simulation includes the virtual scene images being projected onto a screen by a projector, wherein the projected scene images are shot by a camera, and where in the direction of the camera is controlled by a pan-tilt.

Abstract: A multiplexed motion picture camera comprising a sturdy plate for supporting a plurality of camera mechanisms, each camera mechanism provided with an adjustable support device, and connected to a common objective lens through an arrangement of lenses, beam splitters, multiple axis optical relays, and additional shutter devices. Each camera mechanism and its associated optical relays, shutters, and lenses can be individually controlled and adjusted to allow an operator a broad range of photographic settings to achieve a smooth, continuous, natural motion moving image recording.
Abstract: An image file editing apparatus avoids duplicated display of image files when image files are being displayed from multiple recording medium that are removably insertable into the apparatus. A medium drive device writes and reads files stored in the removable recording medium. A list display device obtains or creates identification information of the image file in the recording medium and displays the image file in a list using identification information. A file selection device selects an image file displayed in the list corresponding to an external operation. An editing device executes an editing operation to one or a plurality of selected image files. The image file editing apparatus can also include a medium collating device that searches for identification information from a currently-installed recording medium, and that determines whether the recording medium has already been displayed in the list.
Abstract: The invention relates to a television camera comprising a plurality of pickup elements which are positioned relative to a pickup lens by means of a holder which also includes a color splitting prism system. A front face of the prism system is attached to a reference face of the holder. The prism system is positioned in the holder by means of an abutment element attached to the holder and engaging at least one optically flat prism face. In this manner the prism system is very accurately positioned in the holder in a simple manner.
Abstract: A method of making copies of information sets of the type carried by microfiche elements having integral lenses on one surface thereof. The copy is made by embossing the top surface of a plastic, planar blank to form the integral lenses. The bottom surface of the blank is provided with a thin, opaque coating. The coating is ruptured by a stamping block, the ruptured portions forming optical apertures in the coating. These apertures function in a manner analogous to developed images in a photographic emulsion. Thus, microfiche copies may be made without the use of silver bromide. The selective rupture process may also be employed in the duplication of motion picture film.
