Lamp Attachments Patents (Class 356/68)
  • Patent number: 9636181
Abstract: A method is provided for determining the shape of a surgical linking device that is to be attached to a bony body structure such as the spinal column based on digitized locations of a plurality of attachment elements engaged to the bony structure. The method is implemented by a computer system through a GUI to generate an initial bend curve to mate with the plurality of attachment elements. The initial bend curve may be simplified based on user input to the GUI to reduce the number of bends necessary to produce a well-fitting linking device and may be altered to help obtain the goals of surgery.

Abstract: A projection optical system has excellent optical performance without substantially being affected by birefringence despite the use of an optical material with intrinsic birefringence such as fluorite, for example. A projection optical system forms a reduced image of a first surface onto a second surface . A first group of radiation transmissive members is formed such that a crystal axis [100] and the optical axis nearly align and similarly a second group of radiation transmissive members is formed such that the crystal axis [100] and the optical axis nearly align. The first grout of radiation transmissive members and the second group of radiation transmissive members have a positional relationship rotated relatively 45 degrees around the center of the light axis. Both the first group of radiation transmissive members and the second group of radiation transmissive members are arranged in an optical path between a pupil position on the second surface side and the second surface.

  • Patent number: 5399605
Abstract: There is disclosed a polyester resin composition comprising: (a) 50 to 70 parts by weight of a polyester resin composed mainly of a repeating unit of butylene terephthalate; (b) 30 to 50 parts by weight of a polyester resin composed mainly of a repeating unit of ethylene terephthalate; (c) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a polyalkylene glycol derivative having at least one end group of carboxylate and alkyl ether, per 100 parts by the total weight of the polyester resins (a) and (b); and if necessary or required, (d) not more than 120 parts by weight of an inorganic reinforcing agent, per 100 parts by the total weight of the polyester resins (a) and (b).

  • Patent number: 5257184
Abstract: A device for providing a computer with electrically encoded data specifying curvilinear contours of an object comprises a manipulable frame member, componentry for establishing a reference position, a plurality of stylus elements, and means for measuring displacements of the stylii along respective axes. The componentry for establishing a reference position includes circuits for transmitting to the computer an electrical signal encoding a location of a reference point on the frame member. The stylus elements are each slidably mounted to the frame member for motion along respective axes extending at least partially parallel to one another. The means for measuring or detecting stylus displacements is operatively connected to the stylus elements for transmitting to the computer electrical signals encoding displacements of the stylii along the respective axes.
