Photogrammetry; Photographic Surveying (go1c 11/00) Patents (Class 356/918)
  • Patent number: 6963666
Abstract: A matching device comprises a monitor screen on which first and second images containing a common object are indicated. First, an arbitrary pixel, contained in the first image, is designated as a designating point. Then, four optimum searching pixels are selected from the first image. The optimum searching pixels exist close to the designating point, and have a pixel value more different from the designating point than pixel values of the other pixels around the optimum searching pixels. A candidate point and candidate point surrounding pixels, which correspond to the designating point and the optimum searching pixels, are detected in the second image.

  • Patent number: 6735326
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for evaluating the halves of slaughtered animals by optical image processing. A simple computerized method for sufficiently reliable evaluation is obtained even when the symmetry plane has been missed during cutting of the slaughtered animals due to cutting error by detecting two salient points and a straight line (5) in a photogrammetric reliable manner and by additionally calculating a parallel line (6) and a vertical line (7), wherein the end of the connecting bone (2) on the body side is used as first salient point and the central extension of the back fat (4) is used as a first direction.
