  • Patent number: 9817239
Abstract: A 3D display device having a lens-switching function. The device includes an LCD picture layer, a lens-array plate, an LCD shielding pattern layer, and a synchronous picture providing system. The synchronous picture providing system is connected with the LCD picture layer and the LCD shielding pattern layer such that the LCD picture layer and the LCD shielding pattern layer are synchronous to respectively display a 3D picture and a shielded pattern. Through increasing an area of black shielding pattern, an edge of each lens unit corresponding to the shielding region is shielded, the area of a single light transparent region is reduced, and a light transparent aperture of a lens unit corresponding to the shielding region is reduced in order to eliminate a cross talk generated by scattering and bluntness at the edge.

Abstract: A three-dimensional imaging system based on a stereo hologram is disclosed. Images composed of sub-images having the same vertical-horizontal resolutions which are generated at plural image projection modules having a two-dimensional arrangement structure are projected to a prism array plate or a transmission-type diffusion plate, and are converted into light points, i.e., image points through a microlens array unit. A diffusion plate used as an image display screen is mounted to a position at which images diffused from the light points intersect with images diffused from the adjacent light points.

  • Patent number: 9609309
Abstract: A stereoscopic image output system includes a stereoscopic vision output unit, an image database storage unit, and an output control unit. The stereoscopic vision is realized by outputting, from the stereoscopic vision output unit, a left-eye image and a right-eye image with parallax such that the left and right-eye images are visually recognized by the left and right eyes, respectively. Left-eye parallel projection data and right-eye parallel projection data are generated by parallel projection of a three-dimensional model using respective projection angles set for the left eye and right eye so as to produce the parallax therebetween, and stored in the database storage unit as two-dimensional drawing data. The output control unit controls an output range of the left and right-eye images. If the output range for the stereoscopic image changes, moving directions of the left-eye image and the right-eye image are individually determined by the output control unit.

In the parallax barrier, the direction in which transmissive and non-transmissive parts are alternately arranged is the first direction and the lengthwise direction of the non-transmissive parts is the second direction. There is a boundary that extends in the second direction between two pixels next to each other in the first direction. There are light-shielding areas in the aperture of each pixel. There is a space between the boundary and the light-shielding areas. Of two pixels next to each other in the second direction, the light-shielding areas in the aperture of one pixel are shifted in the first direction with respect to the light-shielding areas in the aperture of the other pixel.
