Optically Compensated Patents (Class 359/677)
  • Patent number: 5548445
Abstract: A zoom lens system consists of a positive first lens group G1, a negative second lens group G2, a stop, a positive third lens group G3, a positive fourth lens group G4 and a positive fifth lens group G5 arranged in this order from the object side. The second and fourth lens groups G2 and G4 are moved with the other lens groups G1, G3 and G5 fixed when zooming. The focal length of the total lens system is changed by moving the second lens group G2 along the optical axis and the change in the image-forming position generated by the movement of the second lens group G2 is compensated for and the zoom lens system is focused by moving the fourth lens group G4 along the optical axis. The following formulae (1) and (2) are satisfied,1.1<f.sub.w(G4+G5) /(f.sub.w .multidot.f.sub.t).sup. 1/2 <1.3(1)1.2<f.sub.G3 /(f.sub.w .multidot.f.sub.t).sup. 1/2 <1.8 (2)wherein f.sub.w(G4+G5) represents the combined focal length of the fourth and fifth lens groups G4 and G5 at the wide-side end, f.sub.

  • Patent number: 5502594
Abstract: A zoom lens incorporating a vibration-proofing function comprises, sequentially from an object side, a first lens group G.sub.1 having a positive refracting power; a second lens group G.sub.2 having a negative refracting power; a third lens group G.sub.3 having a negative refracting power; a fourth lens group G.sub.4 having a positive refracting power; and a fifth lens group G.sub.5 having a negative refracting power. The lens groups move so that when varying a magnifying power from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end, a spacing between the first and second lens groups G.sub.1, G.sub.2 increases; a spacing between the second and third lens groups G.sub.2, G.sub.3 changes linearly or non-linearly; and a spacing between the fourth and fifth lens groups G.sub.4, G.sub.5 is reduced. The zoom lens comprises a shift means for moving one of the third and fourth lens groups G.sub.3, G.sub.4 perpendicularly across the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 5329402
Abstract: A small-sized and bright wide-angle zoom lens having a variable power ratio on the order of 2 at a field angle of approximately 84.degree. and constructed of a small number of constructional lens. The wide-angle zoom lens, sequentially from an object, comprises a first lens group having negative refracting power on the whole and a second lens group having positive refracting power on the whole, wherein a magnification is varied by altering an air space between the two lens groups. In this wide-angle zoom lens, the first lens group is constructed of, sequentially from the object, two pieces of negative meniscus lenses with their convex surfaces toward the object and a positive lens with its convex surface toward the object. At least one of the negative meniscus lenses is formed with an aspherical surface. The second lens group is constructed, sequentially from the object, two pieces of positive lenses, a negative lens and a positive lens. The zoom lens is further constructed to satisfy the various conditions.

  • Patent number: 5321553
Abstract: In a zoom lens having a lens unit of negative refractive power most adjacent to the object side, distortion can be corrected better and an excellent imaging performance is maintained. In a zoom lens having a lens unit of negative refractive power most adjacent to the object side, a negative lens whose image side surface in contact with air is formed by a concave surface is provided in the lens unit of negative refractive power, and the shape of the concave surface of the negative lens is made into an aspherical surface which satisfies the condition that -5<.kappa.<0.75 with regard to a cone constant .kappa. and of which the curvature monotonically decreases away from the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 5268790
Abstract: A zoom lens (10) has a first lens group (12), a second lens group (14) and a third lens group (16). The first lens group relays an outside scene to an intermediate plane. The second lens group varies magnification of the relayed image from the first lens group. Also, the second lens group includes at least one diffractive optical element. The third lens group compensates for focus shift and focuses the wavefront onto the viewing plane.
