Band Patents (Class 360/267)
  • Patent number: 10192575
Abstract: An apparatus includes at least one actuator shaft. First and second head stack assemblies are coaxially located on the actuator shaft(s). The first and second head stack assemblies each include: at least one bearing having an inner race coupled to an outer surface of the actuator shaft(s); an E-block surrounding an outer race of the at least one bearing; an annular gap is between the E-block and the outer race of the at least one bearing; a ring of bonding material filling the annular gap; and an access gap providing a fluid path to the annular gap from at least one of a top and a bottom of the E-block.

  • Patent number: 10150180
Abstract: A laser machining head for machining a workpiece with a laser beam, having a mounting, beam-shaping optics, which are mounted on the mounting such that they can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the laser beam. In order largely to avoid contamination of the optics and in order to hold the optics securely in their adjusted position, even if high inertial forces occur as a result of higher accelerations, a belt drive is provided for displacing the optics.

  • Patent number: 9340356
Abstract: A cable processing apparatus includes a first pulley, a second pulley, and a cable. The first pulley is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The second pulley is configured to rotate about the rotational axis together with the first pulley. The cable includes a fixation region to be fixed to the first pulley and the second pulley. The first pulley is configured to rotate about the rotational axis, to thereby perform one of winding of the cable from the fixation region to one end portion and unwinding of the wound cable. The cable includes a predetermined-length portion from the fixation region to the other end portion, which is wound around the second pulley. The second pulley is configured to rotate about the rotational axis together with the first pulley, to thereby perform one of rewinding and tightening of the wound predetermined-length portion of the cable.
