The rotational motor includes a threaded drive shaft positioned through an aperture formed in the cover. The actuator member is threadingly engaged with the threaded drive shaft. The actuator member is oriented relative to the cover such that a handle of the circuit breaker is positioned through an aperture of the actuating member. Rotation of the threaded drive shaft causes the actuator member to translate such that a first actuating surface of the actuator member engages the handle and switches the handle from an OFF position to an ON position. The handle of the circuit breaker has full range of travel between the ON and OFF positions in response to the actuator member being moved into a neutral position.

  • Patent number: 8593789
Abstract: Provided is a device for distributing high-voltage power for a vehicle which supplies the main power of the vehicle to the electronic devices mounted in the vehicle. More specifically, a power distribution unit includes a plurality of first interlock connectors that connect distributed power to the electronic devices through cables, respectively. Furthermore, a switching unit including switching elements is disposed between the power distribution unit and the first interlock connectors and an interlock circuit unit that is connected with the first interlock connectors and the electronic devices and is separated before the cables are separated due to separation or breaking of the first interlock connectors. A switching control unit checks or determines which electronic devices connected with the interlock circuit unit are separated and controls the switching unit so that the distributed power is not supplied to just those effected electronic devices which have been determined to be separated.

Abstract: An electrical distribution panel includes a panel box locating a ground bus in electrical connection with a ground input lug, a neutral bus in electrical connection with a neutral input lug, and a primary power bus connected to a power input lug through a main breaker switch. The main breaker switch is operable between an on position in which the primary power bus receives power and an off position in which the primary power bus is disconnected. Primary circuit breakers can be supported in the usual manner in connection with the primary power bus. One or more auxiliary circuit breakers are connected to the power input lug to receive power independently of the main breaker switch. An electrical outlet can thus be integrally supported in one of the side walls of the panel box to receive power independently of the main breaker switch.
