  • Patent number: 10971847
Abstract: A disconnect terminal includes an enclosure, a first conductor rail, a second conductor rail, a switching device, and an actuation device. The switching device can be switched by the actuation device from a connecting position, in which the first conductor rail and the second conductor rail are electrically connected by the switching device into a disconnecting position in which the electrical connection of the first conductor rail and the second conductor rail is separated or disconnected, and back. A visible portion of the actuation device aligns with a surface of a portion of an upper side of the enclosure or with a part connected with the enclosure. In the disconnecting position, the visible portion of the actuation device protrudes from a surface of a portion of an upper side of the enclosure or of a part connected with the enclosure in a clearly visible manner. An assembly is provided of at least two aligned disconnect terminals.

  • Patent number: 6388881
Abstract: In an assembling structure of a vehicle center cluster, plural electrical devices are detachably assembled to a holding member to be removed from an inside of a passenger compartment while the holding member is fixed to a dashboard. Therefore, for example, when a CD deck is removed from the center cluster into the passenger compartment among the electrical devices, only the CD deck can be removed from the holding member into the passenger compartment without removing the other electrical devices, in a fixed state of the holding member to the dashboard. Accordingly, removing operation of the electrical devices can be made simple.

  • Patent number: 6111745
Abstract: The interface conductors, stabs and runbacks, which are engaged at first ends by quick disconnects on electrical apparatus in a switchgear assembly, are fabricated from a stacked pair of elongated, flat conductors secured together at the first ends by elongated fasteners which are compressed into countersunk through apertures in the flat conductors to form a joint with no lateral projections. The interface conductors are supported adjacent the disconnects by a first support having a base member with through openings in which the conductors are snugly supported, and rigid projections with planar surfaces extending from the base member toward the quick disconnects alongside the openings and against which the interface conductors are secured adjacent free ends of the projections. A second support spaced rearward of the first support provides additional support for the runbacks. Interphase supports formed by C-channels are provided for the runbacks between the first and second supports.

  • Patent number: 5757602
Abstract: The overcurrent protective switch contains a switch lock 8, which, in the switched on position, holds the movable contact pieces 3 in engagement with the fixed contact pieces 2 against the force exerted by at least one switch-off spring. The switch lock 8 comprises a switch splicing plate 10 connected to the movable contact pieces 3 in an articulated mechanism; a toggle lever splicing plate 12 connected to the switch splicing plate 10 at a toggle joint 13; and a pawl lever 15 mounted in a position inside the housing 1, which is supported by a trigger pawl 17 and connected with the toggle lever splicing plate 12 in an articulate mechanism. The joint axles 11, 13, 16 of the switch splicing plate 10 and the toggle lever splicing plate 12, as well as the pivot bearing axle 14 of the pawl lever 15 are in the on state arranged on a slightly curved line, so that a past dead center condition is created.

  • Patent number: 5247422
Abstract: A circuit breaker panelboard has a rear housing that mounts a plurality of circuit breaker modules arranged in a pair of spaced columns. Each module has an actuator associated with it and the plurality of actuators are also arranged in a pair of spaced columns. A front cover is releasably attachable to the rear housing for enclosing the circuit breaker modules and associated actuators. And an improved circuit breaker actuating assembly is coupled to the circuit breaker actuators and to the front cover for facilitating manipulation of the actuators from the exterior of the front cover. The actuating assembly includes operating members and linking members. The operating members of the first group are disposed in a first pair of columns aligned with the pair of columns of circuit breaker actuators and are provided in directly coupled relationships with first alternating ones of the circuit breaker actuators in the columns.
