The hinges may include hinges based on a three-bar linkage, hinges based on a four-bar linkage, hinges with slotted members, hinges formed from flexible support structures, and hinges based on flexible housing structures. Flexible displays may be mounted to the housing portions overlapping the hinges. When the housing portions in a device are rotated relative to each other, the flexible display may bend. The hinge may be configured to allow the flexible display to be placed in a front-to-front configuration in which an active side of the display faces itself or a back-to-back configuration. Engagement structures may be used to help the housing grip external objects and to hold the housing portions together. The hinges may be provided with rotational detents to help hold the flexible display in desired positions.

Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus includes a casing including a base and an upper cover, and an electronic processing module disposed in the base. The base includes a first engagement structure having a lock slot. The upper cover includes a plate member and a second engagement structure mounted on the plate member. The second engagement structure is presented as a cantilever structure and includes a locking part and a detaching part connected to the locking part. The base and the upper cover are engaged such that the locking part is locked in the lock slot. The detaching part can be moved so as to detach the locking part from the lock slot. Therefore, a user can detach the locking part from the lock slot by the detaching part without any tools, which greatly reduces the complexity of the detachment of a casing of a conventional portable electronic apparatus.

Abstract: A flat cable arranging structure and a slider electronic apparatus therewith are disclosed. The slider electronic apparatus includes two casings movably connected to each other, a flat cable connected to the two casings respectively, and a flat cable arranging structure. The flat cable arranging structure is disposed in one of the two casings and includes a movement-guiding structure, a pushing-against part, and a forcing mechanism. The movement-guiding structure is fixedly disposed. The pushing-against part is disposed to be connected to the movement-guiding structure and is capable of being confined by the movement-guiding structure to move in a specific direction. The flat cable partially winds the pushing-against part. The forcing mechanism is disposed to at least contact the pushing-against part to keep the flat cable in a tensile stretch state. Thereby, the flat cable can be stretched all the time so as not to intertwine together.
