Abstract: A cable connector assembly for mating with a mating connector, including: a printed circuit board (PCB), a mating member mounded on the PCB, an insulative housing receiving the PCB, and a cable extended from the insulative housing. The PCB includes a first portion made of flexible material, a second portion bent and extended from one side of the first portion, and a third portion bent and extended from another side of the first portion. The mating member is soldered on the first portion. The cable is soldered with the second portion and the third portion.

Abstract: A flip chip microelectronic package having a heat spreader is provided. In one embodiment, the microelectronic package comprises a die having a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being coupled to a substrate; a thermal interface material disposed in thermal conductive contact with the second surface of the die; and a heat spreader adapted for dissipating heat from the die, the heat spreader disposed in thermal conductive contact with the thermal interface material. The heat spreader includes a lid having an inner chamber therein defined by a first wall and a second wall, the second wall securely joined to the first wall to seal the chamber, the lid being mounted to the substrate and a wick layer positioned in the chamber.
Abstract: A power outage socket device that may be installed on a variety of lamps or light fixtures. The bottom of the device has a male connector adapted to be inserted into the light socket on the lamp or light fixture, in place of the light bulb. A female socket adapted to receive the light bulb is located on the top of the device. The male connector may be recessed. When power is interrupted, emergency power is provided to one or more emergency light sources on the device to provide light. Emergency power is provided by one or more batteries, which may be rechargeable. The device also may include means for connecting a lamp harp, or for allowing a lamp harp to pass through the device. A photoelectric light sensor may be used to detect ambient light and control whether emergency light is provided when normal power is interrupted.

Abstract: A constant-current regulator regulates and monitors the current fed to one or more downstream loads. It also serves to even out the current fed to the downstream load or loads at the control level or when there is a change in the control level. In order to enhance the security and reliability of operation of such a constant-current regulator when installed in a control and monitoring circuit, control signals having a similar regulating/monitoring content are applied to the constant-current regulator by means of two separate busses (3, 4) in a mutually independent manner. The constant-current regulator is used to carry out a separate plausibility/conformity check of the control signals from the first bus (3) and the control signals from the second bus (4). If a lack of plausibility/conformity is ascertained for the control signals of the first bus (3), the control signals of the second bus (4) are taken as the basis for operation of the constant-current regulator.
