  • Patent number: 5579211
Abstract: A relay (1), particularly a relay with solder terminal pins (13) connected onto a plug adaptor that is formed by a base (20) of insulating material with male plug elements for plugging the adaptor and relay into a circuit. The adaptor has a male connector member with a plurality of conductor elements embedded or inserted into the base and a plurality of high-current blades bent respectively off from the conductor elements. After soldering of the terminal pins (13) to the conductor segments (25), the base region surrounded by a circumferential wall (22) is filled with casting compound. As a result thereof, the arrangement is sealed on all sides and the adaptor with the blade is stabilized and strengthened, so that it can withstand high plugging forces.

  • Patent number: 5576676
Abstract: The base plate module of an electromagnetic switching device, specifically a contactor, is mounted on a base plate (1). The base plate module contains the core (2) of the electromagnet, a magnet coil (5), a printed circuit board (10) with its connected ancillary devices, as well as the contact plugs (16, 17) and terminals (24, 25), both of which are accessible from the outside. Printed circuit board (10) is mounted on base plate (1) and is located between base plate (1) and core (2), which is mounted on the base plate. Strip conductors (12, 13, 14), on the side facing core (2), feature several spring-loaded stub contacts (19, 20) and/or contact plugs (21, 22), all of which are vertically mounted on circuit board (10). Flange (7) of coil module (6), which is oriented toward base plate (1), provided with terminals (23) of magnet coil (5). With magnet coil (5) in the mounted position, terminals (23) of magnet coil (5) are in contact with the spring-loaded stub contacts (19) of strip conductors (13).

  • Patent number: 5566836
Abstract: A telecommunication relay rack for mounting on a floor includes a pair of uprights. A horizontal member is secured to the top of the uprights and a base is secured to the bottom of the uprights. The base includes a pair of identical half bases. Each of the half bases is a single unitary member including a squaring plate. A pair of feet is formed integral with opposed ends of each of the squaring feet. Each foot has a toe pad positioned below the bottom of the respective upright. Each upright has a pair of vertically spaced aligning apertures adjacent to the respective bottom on opposite sides of the upright. Each squaring plate has a pair of vertically spaced base apertures aligned with the respective aligning apertures. A base fastener in the base aperture and aligning aperture secures the respective squaring plate to a respective side of each upright to hold the uprights in a substantially vertical attitude parallel to each other. The toe pads are mounted on a floor whereupon the relay rack is supported.

  • Patent number: 5398011
Abstract: A microrelay including a substrate having a pair of fixed contacts fixed on a surface thereof and a movable section having a pair of movable contacts opposed to the pair of fixed contacts. The movable section includes a frame for fixing the movable section to the substrate; a movable body having the pair of movable contacts and a pair of magnetic bodies; and a coupling section for pivotally supporting the movable body to the frame. The substrate has a pair of magnetic force generating devices for supplying the pair of magnetic bodies with a magnetic force, thereby selectively causing contact between one of the pair of movable contacts and the fixed contact opposed to the one of the pair of movable contacts; and a magnetic force controlling device for applying the magnetic force generated by each of the pair of magnetic force generating devices only to the magnetic body corresponding to each of the magnetic force generating device.
