Abstract: A multi-use tool of small form factor such as can be used for at least clipping an object, clipping to an object, retaining another object. Additional embodiments can include magnetic mounting and/or task lighting. A plurality of such tools could be used for trail marking by using a plurality clipped, mounted, or even dropped along a path. The multi-use tool with a light source can include illumination or trail marking plus different mounting features. One is a clamp. Another is a magnetic mount. All these features can be integrated into a single disposable assembly.

Abstract: A cabinet light includes a light emitting element, a light housing, conductive terminals, a cabinet body, and conductive rails. The light emitting element and the conductive terminals are fixed on the light housing. The conductive rails are fixed on the cabinet body. One end of the conductive terminal is electrically connected to the light emitting element. At least one positioning element is disposed on the cabinet body corresponding to the light housing. When the light housing is fixed on the cabinet body through the positioning element, the other end of the conductive terminal is elastically and electrically connected to the conductive rail. The cabinet body has advantages of simple wiring and use flexibility.

Abstract: A luminaire is provided with a light source, and a light guide which is positioned in front of the light source. The light guide includes a first surface portion formed on the light source side, and a second surface portion formed on a side opposite the first surface portion. The first surface portion is constituted by a flat surface, and the second surface portion is constituted by an inclined surface which intersects at an angle other than a right angle against the optical axis of the light source. An angle formed between the inclined surface and the optical axis on the side of the light source is smaller on a center side of the second surface portion positioned on the optical axis, and is larger on a peripheral side of the second surface portion.

Abstract: A microscopic image fusion method based on region growing judges the fuzzy degree of the microscopic image and determines the fuzzy seed block by evaluating the definition of every image block in the microscopic image. Then, the fuzzy region and clear region are exactly segmented by region growing and are marked. Finally, a clear and high-quality microscopic image, fused by a plurality of microscopic images, is obtained. Due to the combination of the definition evaluation of the microscopic image, and segmentation of the fuzzy region and clear region by region growing, the fusion results of the microscopic image of the present invention show great advantages at the subjective human perception and the objective evaluation. Furthermore, the present invention has simple calculation and stable result, is easy to be implemented and adapted for fusing the digital optical microscopic images which are shot by shallow depth of field.

An insulating rail cover is disposed at least partially over at least one of the conductive standards. An illumination apparatus includes LEDs (light emitting diodes), disposed on a surface of a circuit board having a connector at each end. A low voltage power supply can power the light emitting diodes through the conductive standards.

Abstract: A method for displaying a vessel of a particular biological subject is proposed. The particular object is inserted into the vessel. The deformation of the vessel is predicted by an inserted object on the basis of experience. This experience is quantified by assigning values to particular parameters, the parameters providing information concerning characteristics of the patient, characteristics of his/her vessel and information about the interventional instrument inserted.

Abstract: A display table includes a drawer section, a main drawer, an internal light drawer, and an upper section. The drawer section includes two opposing sidewalls partially defining a drawer compartment and a main opening. The main drawer, disposed within the drawer compartment, slidably mounts to the two opposing sidewalls and includes an exposed front panel for concealing the main opening. The internal light drawer is disposed above the main drawer and slidably couples to the two opposing sidewalls. The upper section is disposed over the drawer section to receive light when the internal light drawer is illuminated. The sewing machine includes a plurality of needle bars having lower ends to which needles are attached respectively and a needle bar case supporting the needle bars so that the needle bars are movable upward and downward. The illumination device includes an illuminating member having a light source, and a support unit located in the needle bar case for supporting the illuminating member so that the illuminating member is switchable between an illuminating position where the illuminating member is located in front of the needle bars or the needles to illuminate a periphery of a needle point of the needle location point of the needle by the light source and a storage position where the illuminating member opens a front side of the needle bar or the needle and is located laterally with respect to the needle bar case.

An illuminator on the base is in electrical contact with the circuit. Completion of the circuit by the pair of contacts lights the illuminator. A display having a support card to be received on a pair of electrical conductors is disclosed. Separate contacts on the card to make contact one with each conductor.
