Abstract: A multi-use liquid container and smoking bottle generally includes a hollow, liquid retaining bottle having a bulb defining an inter chamber for retaining liquids and a hollow first stem extending outwardly from the interior chamber. The multi-use bottle further includes a smoke tube assembly passing through an opening in the liquid retaining bottle and including a hollow secondary stem extending inwardly into the interior chamber, and a bowl connected to and in fluid communication with the secondary stem, the bowl including and at least partially defining a burning chamber. The smoke tube assembly is removable from the liquid retaining bottle. Caps are provided over the first stem and the bowl to prevent liquid contained in the interior chamber from flowing therethrough.

Abstract: A portable lighting device has at least one LED light source (2). Associated with this light source are a voltage supply (3) which can be switched on and off and a light distribution device (4) for varying a luminous intensity distribution of the light source (2). In order to improve the light distribution device in the case of such a portable lighting device in a simple way in design terms and without a considerable amount of space being required, it has a lens system (5) which can be varied in its distance in relation to the light source (2).
Abstract: A light emitting device is produced using one or more light emitting diodes within a light mixing cavity formed by surrounding sidewalls. The light emitting device includes a light adjustment member that is movable to alter the shape or color of the light produced by the light emitting device. For example, the light adjustment member may alter the exposure of the wavelength converting area to the light emitted that is emitted by the light emitting diode in the light mixing cavity. Alternatively, the height of a lens may be adjusted to change the width of the beam produced. Alternatively, a movable substrate with areas of different wavelength converting materials may adjustably cover the output port of the light mixing cavity to alter the color point of the light produced.

Abstract: A focus-adjustable LED flashlight includes: a tubular housing; an LED light-emitting unit coupled to the tubular housing; a sleeve unit coupled movably to the tubular housing; and a positive lens mounted in the sleeve unit and spaced apart from and aligned with the LED light-emitting unit along an axis of the tubular housing. The sleeve unit is movable relative to the tubular housing and the LED light-emitting unit along the axis of the tubular housing so as to adjust a distance between the positive lens and the LED light-emitting unit.
Abstract: A lantern having a compact configuration. The lantern has a generally cylindrical shape with a lower housing containing a fuel tank, a shut-off valve and a regulator. A cap at the base of the lower housing can be removed, providing access to the fuel tank. The fuel tank is refillable via a fuel fill valve arranged at the base of the tank. A burner tube is coupled to the regulator and extends upwards beyond the housing. A mantle, which when lit provides illumination, is removably coupled to the upper end of the burner tube. A generally conical reflector is arranged around the burner tube below the mantle and above the regulator. A glass globe is arranged around the burner tube/mantle assembly and a ventilator cap is arranged above the globe. The ventilator cap attaches to rails which extend up from opposite sides of the lower housing and can be readily removed to access the mantle.
Abstract: A landscaping light fixture including a housing containing a lamp such as an incandescent lamp or LED, that produces light when powered, a lens through which light from the passes and a multi-colored wheel, strip or shutter juxtapositioned between the lamp and lens such that the light emitted from the lamp shines through the color wheel, strip or shutter and then through the lens, the wheel, strip or shutter including a translucent material of different segmented color or of a graduated color and being operatively positioned within the housing of the landscaping light fixture to be movable to align the colored segment or graduation of the wheel, strip or shutter into alignment with the lamp such that the light emitted from the lamp shines through the color wheel, strip or shutter prior to shining through the lens assembly.
Abstract: A decorative apparatus comprises a primary container defined by an upper portion and a lower portion. The primary container has an opening defined in the upper portion. A secondary container comprises a cap and a reservoir body extending therefrom. The secondary container is suspendedly disposed within the primary container such that the cap of the secondary container substantially corresponds to the opening of the primary container and the reservoir body of the secondary container extends toward the lower portion of the primary container. A reservoir access aperture is disposed in the cap. A method of manufacture is also provided.
Abstract: A flashlight includes an elongate body having a front end and providing a compartment for containing a battery cell and a head assembly connected to the front end. The head assembly includes a light bulb, a reflector movable between an inner position behind the light bulb and an outer position surrounding the light bulb for light focusing, and a colored filter movable between an inner position behind the light bulb and an outer position surrounding the light bulb for light color changing. The flashlight includes a manually operated mechanism for initially moving the filter from the inner position to the outer position and subsequently moving the reflector from the inner position to the outer position.
Abstract: A lighting device includes a thin transparent plate in which a plurality of micro-lenses arranged in a matrix are integrated. A second thin transparent plate is supported so as to be movable relative to the first plate by means of at least one pair of flexures. A plurality of micro-lenses arranged in a matrix are also integrated in the second plate.
