Abstract: A method and apparatus for mounting a projector holder to or placing a projector holder on an object for displaying an image onto a surface is disclosed. The projector holder includes a body within which a projector is at least partially disposed. The body includes one or more pliable appendages that are adapted to be manipulated and deformed from a first configuration to a second configuration. In some embodiments, the body is formed in the shape of an animal.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a light set are provided, including a light portion having a body portion configured to retain one or more batteries, a printed circuit board within the body portion containing one or more light-emitting diodes, and a first projection and a second projection extending outward from an outer surface of the body portion. A holder is provided for holding the light portion, including a rear portion, a left wing extending from and perpendicular to the rear portion, the left wing having an outer wall and an inner wall, and a right wing extending from and perpendicular to the rear portion, the right wing having an outer wall and an inner wall.

Abstract: A yoke mount device holder comprises a yoke attachment surface and a device interface surface. The yoke mount device holder attaches a device to a yoke of an aircraft. The yoke attachment surface is attached to the yoke via straps. Straps are passed through channels that are formed between the yoke attachment surface and the device interface surface. Fasteners attach the device to the device interface surface. In operation, a pilot attaches a device to the yoke mount device holder to the yoke of an aircraft. Next, the pilot can then attach and detach their device to the holder quickly and easily via the fasteners. The yoke mount device holder is universally mountable to any style yoke, increases the pilot's visibility, and does not weigh down the yoke as compared to conventional mounting devices. The yoke mount device holder is inexpensive to manufacture as compared to conventional mounting devices.

The filter holder removably holds the adjustable filter and a non-adjustable filter in the body.

A forward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a cap and a rearward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a transparent media. A second media may extend from the opening through a wall of the housing. The cap may be securable to a bar via a mounting apparatus. A PCBA with one or more operational groups of LEDs may be secured within the opening, such that light may be emitted through the media. A housing has a narrow beam lamp and the wide beam lamp with a corresponding lens system to form a light beam with the desired divergence. A number of power control configurations are contemplated, including separate on/off switches, multi-position switches, luminosity level switches with a master on/off switch, and a single switch for each lamp that cycles through several luminosity levels. Power is supplied by batteries. The band includes a bracket attached to the housing and a strap that permanently or removably attaches to the bracket, the combination of which encircles the hand. The light includes mechanisms for adjusting the housing relative to the band.

Abstract: A light control system comprises a light control device and a sensor module configured to detect a motion pattern of a user's hand relative to the entranceway and a light control device. The light control device includes a housing, a proximity sensor configured to detect a position of a door in a vicinity of the entranceway, and a light controller disposed in the housing and communicated with the sensor module and the proximity sensor. The light controller is configured to control the light strip in response to a detected position of the door by the proximity sensor; and control the light strip in response to the motion pattern detected by the sensor module when the door is not detected at a preset opening position or no door is present at the entranceway.

Abstract: A weatherproof solar illuminator and method for use with a carved cucurbit having an external housing with integral cucurbit flesh auger, power source, solar-activated charging panel, light emitting diode (LED) and clear lens at the end of the flesh auger to illuminate the cucurbit. The weatherproof solar illuminator is inserted and screwed down flush to the exterior surface of the cucurbit. The illuminating end of the weatherproof solar illuminator protrudes into the cavity of the carved cucurbit to illuminate the inside of the cucurbit. The flesh auger holds the weatherproof solar illuminator secure and flush to the exterior surface of the cucurbit. A concaved/curved bottom of the housing weatherproofs the opening of the cucurbit into which the apparatus is inserted.

Abstract: A system and method for measuring the head position and postural sway of a subject is disclosed herein. The system generally includes a head position detection device, a postural sway detection device, and a data processing device operatively coupled to the head position detection device and the postural sway detection device. During the execution of the method, the position of the head of the subject is measured using the head position detection device, and the postural sway of the subject is measured using the postural sway detection device. Also, during the execution of the method, it is determined whether the subject is displacing his or her head over a prescribed range by comparing the head position information determined by using the head position measurement device to a predetermined head displacement range.

Abstract: A covert information viewing system converts visible light to infrared wavelengths that can be transmitted for detection by an infrared-sensitive detector, such as night vision goggles, without detection by the human eye. The system includes a visible light information source emitting radiation as visible light, and a covert covering including an energy converting layer for absorbing the visible light emitted from the visible light information source and converting the visible light to infrared wavelengths, and a light blocking layer capable of absorbing unconverted visible light and transmitting infrared wavelengths. The covert covering is attached to the visible light information source and oriented to cover visible light emitted from the visible light information source, but it is also easily removed from the visible light information source.

Abstract: A portable light bulb system includes a bulb that is removably coupled to a mounting bracket affixed to a support surface. The bulb includes an internal battery power supply and a LED light engine. A base of the bulb has a diameter sized to prevent the base from being inadvertently inserted into a conventional 110 volt electrical light bulb socket. The system also includes a wireless module communication device configured to wirelessly communicate with the bulb. In a first use position, operation of the bulb provides illumination to a region proximate the mounting bracket affixed to the support surface. An operator can disconnect the bulb from the bracket and bring the bulb to a second use position where operation of the bulb provides illumination to the second region. The operator can then return the bulb to the bracket at the first use position, or bring the bulb to yet another location for illumination.

Abstract: A lighted sports court floor mop designed for drawing visual attention to itself. It has a circular mop body with a ring of downward facing LEDs imbedded about the entire perimeter of the mop head body. These LEDs face downward when the mop head is in use on the floor, and are not visible when the mop is in use, as they are embedded in the bottom face of the mop head. The light emitted from these LEDs is not directly visible when the mop is in use but rather the light directly emitted from the LEDs is reflected off of the floor to outside of the mop body so the viewing public sees the illusion that the mop body is floating above the court floor. A video display panel may be optionally mounted on the top deck of the mop head that is horizontally or vertically disposed. The lights and video display panel are operated by a pole handle mounted switch that operates the control module. The control module and its power source are housed in the mop body.

Abstract: A flashlight mounting system for mounting a flashlight on a firearm includes a light barrel, which is sized and shaped for containing a flashlight and which is mountable on the firearm, a light activator plug positioned inside the light barrel, a light control member positioned on the outside of the light barrel, and a connector, which extends through a slotted hole in the light barrel and connects the light control member to the light activator plug. Sliding the light control member on the outside of the light barrel moves the light activator plug on the inside of the light barrel to push and activate an on-off switch on the flashlight in the light barrel.

The device may be lockable or use tension to hold it in a particular configuration. The illumination device has a number of light emitting diodes placed on the various surfaces of the device.
