  • Patent number: 10281112
Abstract: A lighting system can comprise a light emitting diode that emits light, an optic mounted to process the emitted light, and an aperture disposed on the light-emitting side of the optic. The optic can comprise a cavity that receives the light. A portion of the received light can pass through a sidewall of the cavity, while another portion passes through a bottom of the cavity and out a front of the optic. The optic can comprise curved sides that receive the light passing through the cavity sidewall and reflect that light through the front of the optic. This reflection can condense the light to form a light beam having a beam waist. The beam waist can provide an annular separation or a radial gap between the beam of light and the aperture, with the separation providing clearance to avoid interference with the light beam.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a light bar, two reflective covers and a reflective plate. The two reflective covers respectively connected to two opposite long sides of the light bar. The reflective plate is positioned at the light output side of the light bar. The reflective surface of the reflective plate faces the light output side of the light bar. The reflective plate has a wavelength conversion layer positioned on the reflective surface thereof. The light bar emits a first wavelength light, and a portion of the first wavelength light is converted by the wavelength conversion layer into a second wavelength light which is reflected by the reflective plate to the two reflective covers, while the remaining non-converted first wavelength light is reflected by the reflective plate to the two reflective covers and mixed with the second wavelength lights to give a light with a predetermined spectrum.

Abstract: The present invention provides an optical cavity structure of an LED lighting apparatus comprising a base, a light reflector, LED module, and a light cover. The light reflector can be integrally formed with the base or an independent unit. An optical cavity is constructed by the base, light reflector and light cover altogether, and the LED module is attached to the base received within the optical cavity. The light reflector can be symmetrical with inclined angle or as a conical shape provided on two sides opposing to the direction of light from the LED module. The inner surface of the light reflector is a light reflecting surface. The light cover is attached to the light reflector. As a result, the light from the LED is gathered and reflected by the light reflecting surface via the angle and shape of the light reflector to achieve an enhanced luminance range and illumination.
