Abstract: An illumination device includes a base, a flexible circuit board disposed on the base, and a plurality of illumination units. The flexible circuit board has a plurality of first branches and at least one second branch which are connected together. Each of the first branches has a radius of curvature, and the radii of curvature of the first branches are different from or identical to one another, so that the first branches are assembled to form a curved surface. The second branch extends from one of the first branches. After the first branches are assembled, the second branch is overlapped with another first branch. The illumination units are packaged onto the first branches of the flexible circuit board. Here, the illumination units located on one of the first branches is electrically connected to the illumination units located on another of the first branches through the second branch.

Abstract: A luminaire, such as a lamp assembly or a floor lamp, umbrella, or planar or sheet-like like light emitting surface includes a conforming mechanism for selectively curving the light emitting surface. A convex profile will diffuse light while a concave profile will concentrate light, it being intended that the surface can be conformable up to a five inch (5?) radius of curvature in either direction. The light panel portions may be of the same color, or may be different colors that will result in different mixing of the light when made from different colors.

Abstract: Lighting module mounted onto a C-shaped rail having a bottom wall and electrical lines extending along the rail includes a light source board having a first face carrying one or more light radiation sources and a second face carrying electrical contacts. A channel-shaped housing envelops the board and has a web wall for emitting the light radiation and two opposed side walls each facing one of the longitudinal edges of the board. Each of a pair of opposed guide members extends along one of the longitudinal edges of the board facing a corresponding side wall of the housing. Each of the guide members and the corresponding side wall of the housing have complementary, mutually cooperating, ramp-like surfaces to retain the light source board within the housing. Elastic members urge the board away from the web wall of the housing, whereby the complementary ramp-like surfaces are elastically urged against each other.
