  • Patent number: 12026323
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a structure of an optical digital pen. In particular, the invention relates to an optical digital pen by use of light scattering which can effectively acquire positional information of a pen tip even when the optical digital pen moves at a tilt on a display panel having a smooth surface. The invention is advantageous in that even when an optical digital pen is used at a tilt on a panel having a smooth surface made of glass or transparent plastic, reflected light for acquiring positional information of a pen tip is sufficiently received. In addition, the optical digital pen has an advantage of being compatibly used with a display panel of an electronic device such as a tablet PC or a laptop computer.

Abstract: A recessed lighting system is provided. The recessed lighting system includes a light module and a driver separately coupled to a chassis. The light module includes one or more rotatable prongs for allowing the light module to pivot while the driver and chassis remain static. By being mechanically separate, the driver does not interfere with the movement of the light module. In particular, since the light module is not directly coupled to and is mechanically separate from the driver, pivoting the light module does not require space in a cavity of an associated housing to accommodate the rotation of the driver. This independent freedom of movement allows the light module to achieve a greater degree of rotation in comparison to light modules that are mechanically dependent on drivers.

An upper cover serves as a light reflector when the lamp is in use, and may serve as a cover positioned at or near the work surface when the lamp is stowed. Optionally, the lamp assembly includes include power and data and wire management capabilities for use at the work surface.

Abstract: An LED worklight includes a center core and a first panel and a second panel coupled to the center core. The first panel includes a first LED die package disposed within a first opening formed within the first panel and a first lens disposed over the first LED die package. The second panel includes features similar to the first panel. The second panel is rotatable around the center core from a zero degree closed orientation to about a 359 degree orientation, and is positionable at any intermediate angle therebetween. The first and second panels each include an attachment mechanism having an elastic band with a hook attached thereto. The attachment mechanisms are used to attach or hang the worklight to or around one or more objects. The attachment mechanisms are stored in the worklight such that the attachment mechanisms do not interfere with its operation when not in use.
