    Abstract: A modular street lighting system comprising an attachment structure, power circuitry positioned, a support structure, and a lighting component comprising a body member comprising a light source housing section and a center component, the center component comprising a plurality of vertically-oriented heat dissipating structures, a circuit housing, circuitry, a rear attachment section, a lighting element in thermal communication, and an optic positioned within the light source housing section. The circuitry is configured to provide power for and control the operation of the lighting element. The lighting element is configured to emit light in the direction of the optic. The optic is configured to reflect light so as to be emitted by the lighting component. The plurality of heat dissipating structures are positioned in thermal communication with the back wall.
