Abstract: The present invention pertains to devices and applications for lighting device assemblies to provide a user versatile lighting options. More specifically, the invention pertains to a device or devices that utilize a removable sleeve mounted around a versatile lighting device base housing, and a housing with a 90 degree pivoting electrical cord attachment, which provide the user multiple design and mounting options. The sleeve may be comprised of one or more cutouts to allow access to different functionality. The sleeve may be cylindrical or any other geometric or abstract structure. In another embodiment of the invention, the lighting device assembly comprises a versatile base which may be placed on a flat surface, mounted to a wall, mounted to a ceiling, or hung by an electrical cord. An electrical cord attachment with a 90 degree pivot provides the user the ability to hang vertically.

Abstract: An LED reading lamp includes a base, a supporting bracket fixed on the base, a heat sink mounted on the supporting bracket and an LED module mounted on a bottom surface of the heat sink. The supporting bracket has a vertical part vertically fixed on the base and a horizontal part extending horizontally from an upper end of the vertical part. The horizontal part defines an opening therein. The heat sink is placed on a top surface of the supporting bracket and located over the opening. The LED module is received in the opening of the horizontal part.

Abstract: An adaptor or an original lamp. The adaptor is used with a lamp having a light bulb to better mount a loop-type lamp shade thereon. The adaptor has a harp assembly with harp sections that extend from a mounting ring or collar that fits about the head of the lamp. The collar can be eliminated when the apparatus is built in to the lamp head during manufacture. The adapter allows support of the lamp shade by both the loops and using a harp to thus reduce tilting or other disorientation of the lamp shade.

The bulb mounting seat assembly includes a bulb mounting seat covering the top opening, a sleeve mounted and held in the aligned through holes, an elongated connection tube and a tightening fastener. The elongated connection tube is attached to the bulb mounting seat and has a bottom threaded end extending out of the sleeve onto which the tightening fastener is screwed. The light bulbs are mounted on the bulb mounting seat inside the shade casing. Consequently, loosening the tightening fastener allows removal of the bulb mounting seat from the top opening to replace conveniently the failed light bulbs.

The two variations of this lamp allow cylindrical items to either be inserted through the bottom of the lamp by the removal of a single plate, or through the top of the lamp, through the removal of a single ring, where the ring covers a circular gap that extends around a centrally located socket. No tools are necessary to change the item or items being displayed, the person changing the display is not exposed to electrical shock, and the time required to change the display is reduced to a nimum. Benefits of the ring are seen where the ring may be removed, and single piece cylinder artwork is removed or inserted, without even unplugging or disassembling the lamp, other than manipulation of the single ring.

Abstract: A unit for converting a bottle or similar receptacle having a neck into a lamp, said unit mounted around the outside of the bottle neck. The basic portion of the unit consists of an inverted cup whose inside diameter exceeds the outside diameter of the bottle neck. The cup carries at least three threaded engaging screws at its lower end. The lower end of a conventional lamp pipe carrying a lamp socket at its upper end, is threaded into the upper central portion of the inverted cup. A self-locking press-plate is threaded at the bottom end of the lamp pipe inside the cup so that the plate rests on top of the bottle neck. At the lower end of the cup, screws engage the bottom end of a shoulder on the bottle neck such that as the lamp pipe is threaded into the cup, the cup and the engaging screws are pulled upwardly thus a compressive force is developed between the shoulder and the top of bottle neck which force holds the unit firmly onto the bottle to complete a lamp.
