Abstract: An LED flood lamp includes an LED lamp and a primary bracket and an accessorial bracket. The lamp includes a pair of lateral sidewalls. The primary bracket pivotally connects with the lateral sidewalls. The accessorial bracket has one end pivotally connecting with one lateral sidewall, and another end connected to the primary bracket via a fastener. Each of the primary and accessorial brackets defines an elongated slot. The fastener is slidable along the slots of the primary and accessorial brackets to vary an illumination angle of the lamp. The LED lamp has a substrate, a plurality of LED modules mounted on a top surface of the substrate and a heat sink mounted on a bottom surface of the substrate, whereby heat generated by the LED modules can be transferred to the heat sink via the substrate to be dissipated to ambient air.

Abstract: The present invention is concerned with providing a support for temporary lighting for use with scaffolding systems. The support assembly comprises of two main components and the required fastening systems to affix lighting fixtures and mast light fixtures embodied in two configurations. The support consists of a thin walled pipe with a tube half clamp welded to one end and a thin walled tee welded to the opposite end. The clamp and tee are orientated to provide the support with a precise mounting position. A second thin walled pipe is positioned concentrically through the tee to create framework that has an angled appearance. The second pipe is maintained annular and concentric to the first pipe by means of two washer type collars welded above and below the tee that constrains both pipes to each other. A small space between the collar and tee provides the second pipe with unconstrained rotational movement. Lanyards incorporated in the support are fixed directly to the scaffold for job site safety concerns.

  • Patent number: 7380959
Abstract: A device for illuminating fluorescent art includes a UV light source, a white light source, a UV sub-housing and a white light sub-housing. The UV light source is contained in the UV sub housing and the white light source is contained in the white light sub-housing so that the white light source is separated from the UV light source. This configuration prevents interference between the UV light source and the white light source within the device.

  • Patent number: 7367698
Abstract: A hand-held portable drop-light is provided. The light comprises a handle, a housing, a cover, a novel mounting assembly, and a light bulb. The mounting assembly is configured with a pivoting light bulb socket and positioned within the handle for mounting the light bulb within a housing interior. The housing possesses an aperture through which the container interior and light bulb may be accessed. The cover is reversibly attached to the housing so as to inhibit access to the light bulb through the aperture. When replacing the light bulb, the cover is moved from the aperture and the mounting assembly is pivoted between a retracted position, where the bulb is substantially retained within the housing and an extended position, where a portion of the bulb is positioned outside the housing. In this manner, the light bulb is easily accessed for replacement.

  • Patent number: 7364325
Abstract: A lamp structure is constructed to include a transparent opencell housing with a predetermined wall thickness. The housing includes an inner mirror layer and an outer mirror layer respectively coated on the inner and outer surfaces thereof. A light admitting face in the outside peripheral rim thereof neighbors the mirror layers, and a light source installed in a lamp socket is formed integral with the housing and controlled to emit light into the predetermined wall thickness, for enabling light rays to be mutually reflected between the mirror layers and guided toward the light admitting face in the outside peripheral rim of the housing to form a light ring.

  • Patent number: 7325938
Abstract: An indirector light fixture is described wherein the fixture is comprised of a reflector housing and a ballast housing connected together by a support arm. The reflector housing may be positioned relative to the ballast housing by movement of the support arm and maintained therein by a ratchet and pawl mechanism or other rotational restriction device. The ballast housing and ballast electronics are connected to the lamp within the reflector housing by ballast feed wires which are maintained internal of the entire fixture thereby preventing the wires from becoming entangled during installation or after installation. Additional structure is provided to further allow adjustment of the head angle relative to the ballast housing.

Abstract: An angle-adjustable recessed lamp structure comprises: a lamp bulb, a lamp holder, a rotatory carrier, and a mounting base. The rotatory carrier is securely screwed onto a track frame, which has a hollow sliding slot on the center of the arc-shaped body. The track frame is securely screwed on the fixing base via a fixing plate that locates on the rearward of the track frame. The fixing plate has two holding notches extending downward from both ends thereof for holding and positioning a rotation shaft. The rotation shaft is securely coupled with the coupling portion to enable the lamp holder to be rotatable by using pivotal connection between the rotatory carrier and the lamp holder. The lamp holder is upwards/downwards rotatable along the sliding slot within approximate 70 angles.

Abstract: The pendent style luminaire split design incorporates generally a housing split into sections, a first section of the housing is attached to the top member located at the mounting arm while the second section of the housing is attached to the lens frame. The second section swings about a hinge between the first section and the lens frame. In the open position of the luminaire, the design allows for the convenience of “hands free” maintenance of both the lamp and the electrical component assembly of the luminaire at the same time. A sealed optical chamber is created, since neither the lens nor lens frame is needed to be separated from the reflector to gain access to the lamp.
