Abstract: A lamp hinge includes a first connector and a second connector pivotally connecting with the first connector. The first connector defines a circular groove therein. The second connector has a pivotal portion pivotally engaging the first connector, and a mounting portion connecting with a lamp head of the lamp. The pivotal portion defines a curved groove therein. The mounting portion defines a central hole therein. A plurality of ball bearings are movably sandwiched between the pivotal portion and the first connector and received in the circular groove and the curved groove. The ball bearings separate the first connector from the second connector a space. Two neighboring ball bearings define a gap therebetween, for providing passage of the electric wires of the lamp therethrough. The gap communicates with the central hole of the mounting portion of the second connector.

The angularly extending legs each have an outer flank and an inner flank between the respective outer flank and the dome.

Abstract: A hydrological barrier plate for in-grade light fixture housings and a housing for use with light fixtures to prevent water entry into the water sensitive compartments of the light fixture. The barrier plate has a plate body with an opening in which is sealably disposed an anti-syphon wire pass-through valve for electrically connecting the components on one side of the barrier plate with the wires in the junction box on the opposite side of the barrier plate. The barrier plate is sealed around its outer edge against the housing wall. The pass-through valve is configured to prevent water from wicking along the wires and to prevent water from passing around the valve. The barrier plate is installed without tools and an effective seal is easily obtained. Using the barrier plate, water is prevented from migrating between the junction box and the primary housing compartments of the housing.

Abstract: An adapter device, for enabling installation of an electrical light fixture to a ceiling mounted electrical box by one person, includes an opening into which a plurality of bendable tabs and a cover screw engaging yoke extend. The adapter device is affixed in an electrical access hole in the body of the electrical light fixture and enables the light fixture to be temporarily suspended from the partially unscrewed cover screw on the electrical box. The temporarily suspended light fixture may be readily aligned with adjacent walls, etc., rotated to enable installation of permanent support anchors, and repositioned to permanently secure it to the installed support anchors.

A rear lamp unit including a rear lamp side mount is provided with a rear lamp side mount hole. The grommet is inserted into the frame side mount hole and the rear lamp side mount hole. The cylinder is opened in a direction, in which the grommet is inserted into the frame side mount hole and the rear lamp side mount hole, and the projection is inserted into the cylinder.

Abstract: Arrangements and methods for connecting and mounting decorative ornaments, for example, beads, crystals, or gems, are disclosed. The arrangements and methods are particularly useful in mounting ornaments in decorative fixtures, such as chandeliers. In one aspect, an arrangement is provided that includes a first ornament having two mounting apertures and a second ornament having at least one mounting aperture; and at least one connector for connecting the first ornament to the second ornament whereby when hung the two apertures of the first ornament are laterally disposed from each other. Multiple pre-formed connectors are disclosed for use in connecting ornaments, such as ornament chains. Mounting hooks, mounting devices, and mounting arrangements are also provided for attaching ornaments to a support. Aspects of the invention may be used for large fixtures, such as large chandeliers, to minimize or prevent the twisting of long chains of ornaments and to support the loading of larger ornaments.

Abstract: A lighting kit includes all the components necessary to install a lighting fixture on a support post or pole. The components are made of polymeric materials to provide an electrically nonconducting enclosure attached to the support post and the fixture. A collar made of fiberglass reinforced polymer is attached to an electrical junction box. The collar has a tubular projection for connecting with the fixture. Spacer blocks are pivotally attached to the junction box and to the support post securing the kit to the post.

Abstract: A fixing structure for a head lamp module of an automobile comprises the head lamp module, a bracket, and a clip. The head lamp module, configured to be coupled to the font surface of a carrier of the automobile, has a fixing panel piece integrally formed at an upper position thereof to be fixed at the carrier, and a pair of rearward-protruding semi-circular loops defining fitting bores, respectively. The bracket has a pair of rectangular holes which allow the loops of the head lamp module to pass there through, so as to position the fitting bores in front of the bracket, and a pair of bolt holes, which allow the bracket to be bolted to the front surface of the carrier. The clip is configured to be inserted downward through the fitting bores of the loops passed though the holes of the bracket, so as to allow the head lamp module to be mounted to the front surface of the carrier via the bracket.

The connective bulb assemblies of the light string display a stable outlook, which is also variable by adjusting the connecting position between the bulb assemblies, to provide various decorative effect.

Abstract: Lighting apparatus includes an effect wheel which is mounted on a rotation mechanism. The rotation mechanism is mounted on a mechanism which moves the effect wheel from a position outside of the light path to a position in which the effect wheel intersects the light path to provide a continuous wheel effect. The translation mechanism can move the effect wheel between positions in which the effect wheel crosses the light path in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction, respectively. The apparatus allows a continuous wheel effect to be added to a multi-purpose luminaire and also allows the direction of travel of the continuous wheel effect across the illuminated field to be continuously varied.

Abstract: A low-voltage luminaire assembly is provided with a transformer and a lamp holder, one or more of which have quick-release connections. Methods for installing and servicing the luminaire assembly are also provided. The luminaire assembly may also have a plurality of lamp holders, a plurality of input and output electrical wires, a rotary dimmer switch, and an electrical plug component. The transformer and lamp holders are mounted to an object and the electrical wires are tailored to the necessary installation dimensions, thereby providing a luminaire assembly that is easily and neatly installable to any object in any desired configuration.

Additional elements may be attached to the bottom flange of the collar for functional or decorative purposes.

Abstract: A structure for holding a lamp wire in a LCD module is disclosed. The structure is formed such that a lamp wire is easily attached to the LCD module and minimizes the possibility of the lamp wire from separating from the fixing recess. The structure includes a fixing recess formed at one edge of the LCD device. The fixing recess has an open external and open top surface. A fixing hook having two ends, where one end is fixed to an upper side of an inside wall of the fixing recess and the other end bent at an angled forming a slight separation from an inner surface of an external end of the fixing recess. The lamp wire is easily inserted into the fixing recess through a gap between the fixing hook and the external end of the fixing recess and held in place due to the elasticity of the fixing hook.
