Plumb Or Level Having Liquid-type Bubble Patents (Class 362/461)
  • Patent number: 10082266
Abstract: A vehicle lamp 10 includes a lamp body 11, a sealing material 42, and a lens member 12 and a leg portion 41. A groove portion 31 is formed in the lamp body 11. The sealing material 42 is filled in the groove portion 31. The leg portion 41 is provided on the lens member 12. The leg portion 41 is inserted into the groove portion 31 to thereby fix the lamp body 11 and the lens member 12 together via the seal material 42. A narrow portion 51 is provided at a bottom side of the groove portion 31 and a wide portion 52 is provided at an opening 35 side of the groove portion 31. A gap of the wide portion 52 is wider than the gap of the narrow portion 51. The amount of sealing material 42 used in vehicle lamp 10 is limited while ensuring an easy assemblage.

  • Patent number: 9630476
Abstract: A view adjustment device of a vehicle which adjusts a view recognized by a driver through a windshield glass comprises a visual-stimulation indicating mechanism capable of indicating shielding portions in a view area of the diver and a controller to control an indication manner of the visual-stimulation indicator. The controller comprises a traveling-direction determination portion to determine a traveling direction of the vehicle, a traveling-speed determination portion to determine a traveling speed of the vehicle, and an indication control portion to control the visual-stimulation indicating mechanism. The indication control portion is configured such that when it is determined that the vehicle travels in a straight direction, the high-speed shielding portion is indicated at a position located relatively on a leftward side, in a vehicle width direction, compared to the low-speed shielding portion or the middle-speed shielding portion.

  • Patent number: 8814402
Abstract: A control device (100) for controlling a vehicle lamp (210) provided in a vehicle is provided. The device includes: a receiver (102) configured to receive an acceleration signal representing an acceleration of the vehicle, from an acceleration sensor configured to detect the acceleration of the vehicle, wherein an inclination angle (?) of the vehicle with respect to a horizontal plane is calculated based on the acceleration signal; a controller (104) configured to: i) generate a first control signal instructing the vehicle lamp to adjust an optical axis of the vehicle lamp in response to a change of the acceleration signal, when the vehicle has already stopped; and ii) generate a second signal instructing the vehicle lamp to maintain the optical axis of the vehicle lamp, when the vehicle is traveling on a road surface.

  • Patent number: 7264386
Abstract: An illumination property of headlights 4 is controlled so that light quantity or color in a belt-like region B including a virtual line segment A may be different from those in other regions, and thereby the virtual line segment A which uniformly inclines downward from an apex T deviated from a driver toward opposite sides in a vehicle-width direction is indicated on a road surface. The virtual line segment A thus indicated can suppress inclinations of forward visibility and also suppress the sway of ahead inclination angle when a vehicle turns, thereby stabilizing a driving posture of a driver and suppressing steering disturbance.
