The light emitting unit incorporates a light bulb capable of being lighted on with an electric current supplied from the battery case through a power supply cable. Since the light emitting unit is separated from the battery case, it can be made compact and easily mounted on the handlebar of the bicycle independent of the battery case. Consequently, the light emitting unit is not a hindrance to a bicycle rider in handling the bicycle, and it is hard to experience a shock and be damaged in riding the bicycle.
