Abstract: A method for mixing a fluid includes: dispensing a first volume of a fluid into a flexible container, the flexible container being at least partially disposed within the chamber of a support housing; repeatedly moving the support housing and the flexible container contained therein so as to mix the first volume of fluid within the flexible container; adding further fluid into the flexible container after moving the support housing to form a second volume of fluid; and manipulating a mixing element within the flexible container so as to mix the second volume of fluid.

Abstract: A weigh batch blender including a hopper pivotally mounted within a housing and having two compartments between which ingredient materials which have been individually introduced into the hopper are transferred to blend the ingredient materials as the hopper is pivoted between two "mix" positions at the ends of the pivotal range of the hopper. After blending, the hopper is moved to beyond one of the ends of pivotal movement of the hopper to dump the blended ingredient material contents of the hopper.
Abstract: An apparatus for purifying waste water by precipitating out foreign material as solids and separating the solids from the purified water comprising a rotatable semi-cylindrical open container and a band filter beneath the container for receiving the contents of the container and separating the precipitated solids from the purified water. As the container slowly rotates, the contents spill over the edge of the container onto the moving band filter. The purified water is recovered in a filtrate container beneath the filter while the solids are discharged to waste from the end of the band filter. A microprocessor controls the sequence of operations, including the rotation of the container, the stirring mechanism, the feeding of the precipitation agent and the duration of stirring.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sifting device that is attached to a granulating apparatus. The sifting device includes a disk valve which can be shut, allowing the sifting device to be cleaned apart from the granulating apparatus, without detaching the sifting device from the granulating apparatus.
