  • Patent number: 10427323
Abstract: The invention relates to a mixing and conveying system for dry mortar materials. The dry mortar materials can be obtained from a storage silo (1) through an openable closure panel (3). A pipe (17), in which a drivable screw conveyor (4) is mounted, is arranged under the closure panel (3). The pipe (17) leads into a mixing and buffer container (18), in which a coil (20) is rotatably mounted on a central axis (19). The mixing and buffer container (18) has a volume which equals at least 1.5-times the minute capacity of the pump-screw conveyor (14). It is thus ensured that the dry mortar material is mixed therein with the added water for at least 90 seconds or longer. The mixing and buffer container (18) leads into a pipe (15) at the bottom having a pump-screw conveyor (14) which conveys the mixed mortar into a hose (5). The pump-screw conveyor (14) can be allowed to run backward. The coil (20) runs continually such that the mortar is constantly agitated to prevent setting.

  • Patent number: 9895024
Abstract: A tool that is attachable to an electrically driven stand mixer and configured, when suspended into a bowl and driven in planetary motion by the stand mixer, to perform a mixing operation that involves folding ingredients together without substantial expulsion of air from the mix. The device aims to automate the folding action by providing a food mixing arrangement in which a tool having a wing-like volute blade is suspended by its shaft from a drive outlet of the stand mixer and executes a planetary motion within a mixing bowl. The blade is twisted along its length and has curved surfaces formed to gently lift and turn ingredients to be mixed in the bowl so as to simulate a gentle folding action similar to that achieved manually by an experienced cook.

  • Patent number: 9656227
Abstract: A food blending appliance includes a housing with a motor therein. A food blending chamber having an inner wall surface is located proximate the housing. A wiper assembly is operably coupled to the motor and has a wiper blade that includes a tapered forward portion and a tapered rearward portion. The wiper blade includes an arced exterior surface that includes a radius of curvature that is substantially the same as a radius of curvature of the inner wall surface. The operable coupling between the motor and the wiper assembly can be accomplished by a magnetic drive member in the housing and a magnetic blade member in the wiper assembly. The operable coupling between the motor and the wiper assembly results in rotation of the wiper blade when the motor is activated, which removes food from the inner wall surface of the food blending chamber during rotation.

Two of the cells separately contain a first and second foam precursor composition and the cells are located at one end of the bag. The remainder of the bag is vented for permitting gases to escape from the bag as the foam precursors form foam while preventing foam or foam precursors from escaping from the bag. The mixing device ruptures the frangible seals to form a single interior cell and mixes the first and second foam precursors.

  • Patent number: 5580167
Abstract: In a kneading machine for food products, the product to be kneaded is fed within an endless channel defined within a circular bowl. In the channel there are located helical kneading tools each rotating around a respective axis while all moving simultaneously along the endless channel. Within the channel there project walls, each obstructing the channel immediately behind a respective kneading tool, so that each kneading tool is contained within a kneading chamber separated from the remainder of the channel, this kneading chamber moving along this channel from a loading area for the product to be kneaded to an unloading area for the kneaded product. The machine receives a continuous elongated mass of product to be kneaded and discharges at its outlet a sequence of batches of kneaded product which form again a continuous elongated mass of dough.

Abstract: A paddle is used for mixing and cutting. A hub is at one end of the paddle for connecting the paddle to a planetary mixing machine. The paddle includes a plurality of interconnected arms in a fan-like array which define a plurality of slots between adjacent arms. The arms include a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. Outermost ones of the arms are positioned at opposite sides of the paddle. A plurality of wire members are secured at their opposite ends to the outermost arms. The wire members extend through the apertures formed in the arms and across the slots defined between the arms. The combination of the arms, the wire members extending through the apertures formed in the arms and across the slots defined between the arms, forms a plurality of multidirectional mixing and cutting components of the paddle. Cutting efficiency of the paddle relates to paddle size, mixing speed, mixture density, wire size, number of wires or distance of the wire members from the rotational axis of the paddle.
