Abstract: A method of manufacturing a composite granular grouting material according to the present invention comprises: mixing bentonite and auxiliary component; forming spherical composite granules by agglomerating the mixture of bentonite and auxiliary component; drying the formed composite granules; and forming bentonite layer having lower density for forming slurry outside the composite granules by mixing bentonite with the spherical composite granules and agglomerating the same. The grouting material according to the present invention has excellent thermal conductivity and water blocking capability.
Abstract: A tank comprising a vessel wall and a bottom fixed to said vessel wall. The bottom comprises a portion obtained by chip-removing machining. The tank can be used for a machine for kneading foodstuff substances in which the tank can be driven in rotation by driving means of driving said machine. The aforesaid portion is prearranged for direct engagement with the aforesaid driving means of the kneading machine.
Abstract: An apparatus for mixing and distributing sauce is disclosed. The apparatus may include a mixing-pump device coupled a linear arm for distributing sauce over a rotating turntable. The turntable may include an improved gripping device for coupling to a pan. The apparatus may also include a self-expelling concentrated sauce vat which couples to the mixing-pump device. The apparatus may also include a self-expelling concentrated sauce cassette which couples to the mixing-pump device.

Abstract: An apparatus for molding plastic including: (a) an injection space; (b) forming apparatus for supplying plastic material to the injection space, the forming apparatus having at least an inner conical stator and an outer conical stator and at least one rotatable rotor disposed outside of the inner conical stator; and (c) a piston for compressing the plastic material supplied to the injection space into a mold to form the plastic material into a shape determined by the mold.
Abstract: Measured quantities of cereal flakes are loaded into suitable forming moulds in which they are subjected to successive pressure pulses spaced by respective periods in which the pressure is released, so as to compact the cereal flakes, producing cereal aggregates in which the tendency to crumble is considerably reduced.

Abstract: An apparatus for the treatment of dough, in particular portioning and kneading, has a drum (2) rotatable around a horizontal axis and provided on its periphery with receiving openings (3, 4) for the dough. In these receiving openings the dough is treated, for example by a kneading member. In each receiving opening (3, 4) a piston (43) is guided in radial direction of the drum along a restricted guidance (46) that on its entire is rotatable relative to the drum (2). The restricted guidance consists of at least two members (91, 92) adjustable relative to each other and completing each other effectively to the common restricted guidance (6) and always reliably guiding the pistons (43). By relative adjustment of the two members (91, 92), the treatment conditions on a station can be changed without influencing the other stations FIG. 2.
Abstract: An apparatus for the production of grains using the rolling layer technique. The apparatus has a container formed from multiple concentric sections, a truncated cone shaped lower section, a cylindrical shaped middle section, and, at least one cylindrical shaped upper section, and is supported for rotation about the longitudinal axis of the container. The lower section tapers outward from a lower end face plate to an upper end which communicates with the lower end of the middle section to form a transfer port between the lower and middle sections, while the upper end of the middle section communicates with the holed lower face of the upper section to form a transport port between the upper and the middle sections. An annular ridge-like structure exists on the interior surface of the lower face of the upper section, circumferentially surrounding the transfer port. The cross-sectional diameters and the heights of the sections vary relative to each other.

Abstract: An injection apparatus of a plunger type for injecting reinforced materials such as BMC is of a single barrel type or a double barrel type having a rotatable plunger disposed in the barrel. A check valve device for preventing a back flow of the materials in a metering process is provided such that it is closed when the plunger is actuated to move axially for injection.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a continuously-operating apparatus for dividing and kneading portions of dough in which portions of dough are directed to measuring chambers on a drum and the drum is rotatably mounted and includes a plurality of measuring chambers in circumferentially-spaced relationship about the drum, at least two of the measuring chambers including kneading devices so that the drum, when rotated in a step-by-step movement about its axis of rotation, is measured, and kneaded, and subsequently discharged from the apparatus for producing a food product.
Abstract: A tape cartridge for use in the reproduction of sound recordings on a tape is characterized by a brake mechanism which moves in a linear direction toward and away from the rotating reel and hub which carry the tape. The brake mechanism consists of a unitary structure which is guided between two upstanding walls within the cartridge and a spring which is operatively connected to the unitary structure and urges it toward the reel. A pawl like projecting member is positioned on the outer periphery of the unitary structure and is designed to engage any one of the plurality of openings in the reel thereby preventing rotation of the reel. Disengagement of the pawl member from the reel enables rotation of the reel. The linear motion of the unitary brake structure enables the cartridge to be properly aligned when positioned within the tape recorder machine resulting in an even pressure pad contact and tape tracking.
