  • Patent number: 8540418
Abstract: The invention concerns a escapement lever (1) for the escapement mechanism of a timepiece movement, including at least one fork delimiting a notch (2) which includes horns (3; 4) arranged for cooperating with a balance. Said fork notch (2) includes, in at least one said horn (3; 4), a slot (5, 6) and/or a chamber (30), wherein said slot (5; 6) and/or chamber (30) is arranged to confer elasticity on the corresponding horn, which softens the shock at each impulse, by absorbing part of the impact energy, and then returning it subsequent to said impact.

  • Publication number: 20130155820
Abstract: A mechanism for advancing, by periodic jumps, a cage of an escapement mechanism, including: a pivoting retaining mechanism authorizing or preventing pivoting of the cage, depending on whether the retaining mechanism is moving or not; and a stopping mechanism cooperating with the retaining mechanism to allow or prevent the pivoting of the retaining mechanism according to the position of the stopping mechanism. The trajectory of the retaining mechanism interferes with that of the stopping mechanism, both being external to the cage, and the retaining mechanism includes a flirt pinion carrying a flirt arranged to cooperate with the stopping mechanism and whose trajectory interferes with the stopping mechanism, the flirt pinion cooperating with a toothing of the cage, via an inverter wheel set.

  • Publication number: 20100177603
Abstract: A piezoelectric drive device includes a piezoelectric actuator and a rotation transfer device. The piezoelectric actuator includes a vibrator and a rotor that is rotated in one specific direction by the vibrator. The rotation transfer device transmits rotational energy from the rotor to a driven rotating body, and includes an elastic device that stores rotational energy and a rotation limiting device having a drive wheel and a driven wheel. The rotation transfer device allows the driven wheel to rotate a specific angle, and restricts driving the drive wheel. The elastic device and the rotation limiting device are disposed so that rotational energy transmitted from the rotor is transmitted through one to the other of the elastic device and the rotation limiting device. The rotor, the elastic device, and the rotation limiting device render a serial path for transmitting rotational energy.

  • Patent number: 4916676
Abstract: An electronic timepiece is provided having a display. An actuator provides rotational energy for driving the display. An energy storage unit stores the energy of the actuator and applies it to the display. A link connects the actuator to the display. A control unit connected to the display by a second link controls the driving the display by controlling the application of energy to the display by the storage unit. The control unit includes a magnet, a power generating yoke and a power generating coil about the yoke.
