    Abstract: A wrist-worn, tool and routine activity aiding device comprising, a wristband housing having a front that includes a bottom surface, an outer edge and a sidewall that extends upwards from said bottom surface outer edge, said sidewall having an inner surface, and a defined cavity boundary, a body having a boundary edge and top and bottom surfaces, a means for aiding the wearer in a routine activity of the wearer and that is attached to the body, a tubular member, a flange. The tubular member of the device is mounted to the body boundary edge, wherein the flange interacts with the wristband housing to lock and unlock the tubular member to the housing. Tool members have a configuration to be moved from a stored position to extended position for use, and wherein the tool members in a stored position are located and stored completely within the boundaries of the cavity.

    Abstract: The hand worn watch apparatus provides a wrist band, an index band, and a thumb band for securing the pliable material to the delta area of a wearer's hand. Not only is the delta area a more comfortable and logical location, the area is larger than a typical wrist, whereby the apparatus can feature far more functions and electronics than a typical wristwatch. Further, a wearer does not have to practice elbow abduction and forearm pronation to read the display, use the controls or tell time. The apparatus is especially useful for those in sports as well as those driving a car. A user need not pronate the hand when engaged in sports and driving. And, a wearer's gold swing is not hindered by the apparatus. The apparatus is further designed to be noticed in making a fashion statement.

    Abstract: Esterification and transesterification methods, systems and apparatus are disclosed which increase the efficiency of esterification reactions. The methods comprising utilizing an annular gap reactor comprises a rotor rotating within a stator to provide an annular flow passage comprising a flow path containing a high-shear treatment zone in which the passage spacing is smaller than in the remainder of the zone to provide a subsidiary higher-shear treatment zone. In exemplary embodiments, the reactor is modified to include an evaporator portion including an opening in the stator near the end of the reactor and a series of fins placed in the opening. Increase in the rates due to the annular gap reactor allow for the use of less catalyst, poorer catalysts, lower temperature and reduction in unwanted side reactions at more economically favorable conditions.

    Abstract: The present invention is a parking time indicator key fob which includes a housing and a timing device contained within the housing for counting down an amount of time. A display is connected to the housing for indicating an amount of time remaining on the timing device. The present invention further includes a means for setting the timing device to the amount of time and an alarm mechanism is connected to the timing device. Upon setting the setting means to the amount of time, the timing device is activated causing the timing device to count down from the amount of time value to a zero value. Upon reaching a predetermined value, the timing device causes the alarm mechanism to be activated thereby alerting a user that the amount of time is approaching the zero value.

The slit is filled with a nonconductive resin, affixing the opposing cutaway planes together.

    Abstract: A timing device for use in athletic workouts which measures the passage of short intervals of time such as the recovery periods between successive sets of exercise is disclosed. The present timing device is contained in a housing which may be worn on an elastic band about a user's thumb and actuated by a single finger on the same hand. In one embodiment the timing device includes a sliding interval selector switch that enables the user to select preset time intervals of fifteen, thirty, forty-five, and sixty seconds. The interval selector switch actuates a count-down timer which transmits a signal to a miniature speaker to produce an audible alarm, or in the alternative, to a vibratory device advantageous to visually or hearing impaired users. In an alternative embodiment the timing device includes a microprocessor having memory and computing functions which permit desired time intervals to be programmed by the user.

    Abstract: An earring watch comprises an enclosure 4 with a friction clip or pierced-earlobe hook for attachment to the ear. The enclosure contains an energy cell 18, a timekeeping circuit 42-46-48 and an audio transducer 40 for announcing the time in a series of groups of tones, the number of tones in each group equal to a respective digit of the time. The time is announced when the wearer touches one part of the surface of the enclosure twice, another part 6 of the enclosure is electrically connected to the body via the ear, so that the touch completes a circuit between the two parts of the enclosure. Preferably, and to avoid false readouts due to an inadvertent touch, the watch contains circuitry for providing a time readout only if it is touched twice within a predetermined interval.
