  • Patent number: 10400420
Abstract: An implement has a frame. First and second shafts are mounted to the frame and rotate along coaxial longitudinal center axes. A tilt actuator is operatively connected between the first and second shafts such that as the tilt cylinder moves from an expanded to a contracted position, it rotates the first shaft in a first direction and the second shaft in an second opposite direction; and from a contracted to an expanded position, it rotates the first shaft in the second direction and the second shaft in the first direction, thereby changing the tilt of the implement. A height actuator is operatively connected between the frame and the tilt actuator and drives the first and second shafts in the same direction to change the height of the implement.

  • Patent number: 9677572
Abstract: A method for storing and reusing hydraulic energy in a machine is disclosed. The method includes transferring the hydraulic energy from an actuator to an upstream side of a motor pump via a first valve, during a normal mode. The method includes directing excess hydraulic energy from a downstream side of the motor pump to an accumulator by opening an accumulator valve and closing a bypass valve, during an energy saving mode. The method includes retrieving stored hydraulic energy from the accumulator to the upstream side of the motor pump by opening the accumulator valve, during an energy discharging mode.

  • Publication number: 20090007464
Abstract: A line 93 is provided with a line 71 communicating the line 93 and a hydraulic oil tank 51. The line 71 is provided with a throttle 72 to construct a throttle-provided line 7. When air is trapped between the hydraulic oil tank 51 and the hydraulic pump 52, the hydraulic pump 52 is driven to discharge the air from the throttle-provided line 7 to the hydraulic oil tank 51, thereby removing the air in the hydraulic circuit 5. When the air is removed, resistance caused by the throttle 72 is increased, which makes hydraulic oil flow from a pilot pump 522 to a PPC valve. Since the throttle-provided line 7 realizes air removal with a simple structure, a hydraulic cylinder 44 can be supplied with the air-removed hydraulic oil from an initial stage, thereby enhancing responsiveness of the hydraulic cylinder 44.

  • Patent number: 7356949
Abstract: A scraping device, a system and a method for collecting a material are provided. The scraping device may have a bowl having a first end and a second end. A lip may be positioned at the first end and may cover an opening at the first end. In an embodiment, direct mounted cylinders may be attached to the lip and may move the lip to completely cover or uncover the opening. The scraping device may have a tongue mounted to the bowl having a triangular-shaped plate mechanism that may be used to raise and to lower a cutting edge attached to the bowl. Cylinders connected to the mechanism may be retracted or extended to raise or to lower the scraping device. A load within the scraping device may be lifted by force exerted from a barrel end of a cylinder, thus utilizing a maximum potential of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6434864
Abstract: A front loader using smaller capacity engine, due to energy recuperation, while utilizing the same capacity and decreasing fuel consumption and toxic exhaust bulk. The front loader uses energy recuperation both when excavating material and upon movement with simultaneous lift of a loaded bucket. The front loader uses energy recuperation irrespective of the type of transmission to the loader wheels. The front loader uses a single crank control, without throttle control, hydraulic distributor of bucket turn, hydraulic distributor of boom lift, and displacement volume of variable pump-motor working equipment.

  • Patent number: 6347670
Abstract: An apparatus for modifying the earth's surface by removing soil from the surface, moving the soil to a new location and filling low areas. It comprises a frame carried by at least two wheels, a tongue mounted to the frame for attachment to a tractor, a cutting blade mounted on the frame, and a bucket pivotally mounted to the frame adjacent the blade to receive the soil cut by the blade. The wheels are pivotally mounted to the frame for movement of the wheels about the back wall and floor of the bucket between a first position and a second position. When the wheels are in the second position, a portion of each of the wheels underlies a portion of the floor of the bucket bringing the wheels closer to the center of gravity of the apparatus and its load.

  • Patent number: 6301808
Abstract: An earth moving and land grading machine includes a frame and road wheels mounted on the frame, with a forwardly directed device for permitting connection to a prime mover. The frame has a bin for receiving material. A rear wall is movable between a first position, in which the bin is substantially open for receiving material therein, to a second, forward position during movement for delivering the material from the bin. Movement of the rear wall between the first position and the second, forward position is via a hydraulic ram having a piston. The piston has an outer end that moves along a fixed path and is pivotally connected to an arm partway along a length thereof, so that portions of the arm on each side of the pivotable connection have unequal lengths. A first length of the unequal arm lengths has a longer length and is connected to the rear wall and the second length of the unequal arm lengths has a shorter length and is connected to the earth moving and land grading machine.
