Resonant Transfer Techniques Patents (Class 370/308)
  • Patent number: 11838240
Abstract: A system and method to instruct a user equipment (UE) how Uplink Control Information (UCI) on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) should be transmitted with carrier aggregation. A semi-static signaling of a UCI mapping bit (via a Radio Resource Control (RRC) parameter) is used by a base station such as an eNodeB to require the UE to transmit UCI using one of two pre-determined UCI transmission modes. The bit can be decided by the base station, considering, for example, the available bandwidth or quality of different Uplink Component Carriers (UL CCs) associated with the UE. This network-based solution allows the network to either configure a general rule of UCI transmission by the UE or to enforce the UCI transmission on the Uplink Primary cell (UL Pcell). Because of the rules governing abstracts, this abstract should not be used to construe the claims.

  • Patent number: 11728845
Abstract: A power line communication device including a current path provided between a first terminal and a second terminal. A coupling circuit includes a first circuit of a first inductor connected in parallel with a first capacitor and a first resistor, wherein the coupling circuit is connected between the first and second terminals. A sensor is configured to sense a communication parameter of the coupling circuit. The communication parameter may be a resonance of the first circuit, the quality (Q) factor of the resonance, the bandwidth (BW) of the coupling circuit, the resistance of the first resistor, or the impedance of the first circuit. A transceiver is adapted to couple to the first and second terminal to transmit a signal onto the current path or receive a signal from the current path responsive to the parameter of the coupling circuit and a level of current in the current path sensed by the sensor.

  • Patent number: 6542478
Abstract: In a code division multiple access (CDMA) communications system, a PN sequence generating device is provided to generate a PN sequence by interleaving of cyclically shifting the symbols of an orthogonal or biorthogonal code in accordance with a pre-defined hopping pattern. A receiver receives simultaneous signals from a plurality of transmitters, where each transmitted signal is spread by a PN sequence generated from the same pre-defined hopping pattern. The receiver is able to differentiate the received signals from each transmitter by varying the amount of interleaving or cyclic shift in each transmitted signal. In the PN sequence generating device, an orthogonal symbol generating portion cyclically shifts mutually orthogonal and periodic orthogonal code sequences, and an orthogonal symbol selector selectively outputs the cyclically shifted orthogonal symbols according to a predetermined pattern.
