Combining Or Distributing Information Via Frequency Channels Patents (Class 370/343)
  • Patent number: 11005543
Abstract: This invention is a transmission device capable of enhancing the reception characteristics of a terminal when employing transmit diversity using two antenna ports in an ePDCCH. In a base station (100) that transmits a reference signal to a terminal (200) using two antenna ports, a setting unit (102), on the basis of the reception quality of the terminal, sets as the aforementioned two antenna ports either a first antenna port pair for which DMRS (reference signals) do not undergo mutual code multiplexing, or a second antenna port pair for which the DMRS do undergo code multiplexing. A transmitter (109) transmits the DMRS from the two antenna ports set in the setting unit (102).

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described that includes a control channel receiver configured to monitor, in a license-assisted-access (LAA) cell, a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and to monitor a second PDCCH. The first PDCCH includes a DCI format having a field for indicating an occupied-OFDM-symbol configuration for a subframe in which the first PDCCH is detected. The second PDCCH is a PDCCH of which detection indicates a transmission of a PDSCH on the LAA cell. A reference signal receiver is configured to receive reference signals of which resource element position within the subframe is determined depending on the occupied-OFDM-symbol configuration. A shared channel receiver is configured to receive the PDSCH assuming the same antenna port is used as for the reference signals.

Abstract: A wireless device (810) obtains (904) a first transmission time interval (TTI) for transmitting a first signal, and determines (908), based on the first TTI, a first transient time associated with the first TTI that defines a first duration during which a transmit power level of the wireless device changes. The wireless device transmits (912) the first signal using the first transient time. The wireless device obtains (916) a second TTI for transmitting a second signal, wherein a length of the second TTI is different from a length of the first TTI. The wireless device determines (920), based on the second TTI, a second transient time associated with the second TTI that defines a second duration during which the transmit power level of the wireless device changes that is different from the first transient time. The controller is configured to have information at time t(n) about the data traffic workload of the processing arrangement at time t(n+1). Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for mitigating interference in a communications network. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises obtaining a packet. The packet has been wirelessly received in an uplink direction by a transmission and reception point of the network node and from a packet sender. The packet is indicative of scheduled transmission of a further packet within a predefined time interval from the transmission and reception point has wirelessly received the packet. Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for transmitting DFT-s-OFDM symbols. A data sequence for transmitting as an OFDM symbol is received as input from a data source. A reference sequence for transmitting along with the data sequence as the OFDM symbol is generated and time-multiplexed with the data sequence, to generate a multiplexed sequence. Thereafter, a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) operation is performed on the multiplexed sequence to generate a DFT-spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) symbol that is further processed for transmitting over a channel. The transmission of the reference sequence and the data sequence in a single OFDM symbol provides better bandwidth utilization and flexibility in modulation of the reference sequence and the data sequence.

When the value exceeds a predetermined threshold, indicating that the preamble sequence is being received, estimates of the channel impulse response (“CIR”) are developed. When a start-of-frame delimiter (“SFD”) is detected, the best CIR estimate is provided to a channel matched filter (“CMF”). During a data recovery mode, the CMF filters channel-injected noise from the sample stream. Both carrier phase errors and data timing errors are continuously detected and corrected during both the carrier acquisition and data recovery modes of operation.
