  • Patent number: 11972514
Abstract: An animation file processing method and apparatus, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer device are provided. The method includes: obtaining a bitmap image sequence corresponding to an original animation file; encoding a differential pixel region between a bitmap image in the bitmap image sequence and a corresponding key bitmap image when the bitmap image is a non-key bitmap image, to obtain an encoded picture corresponding to the bitmap image; and generating an animation export file corresponding to the original animation file according to encoded pictures corresponding to bitmap images in the bitmap image sequence.

  • Patent number: 11647195
Abstract: An image coding device is provided with a determination unit which determines whether to apply an orthogonal transform to a transform block obtained by dividing a prediction difference signal indicating a difference between an input image and a predicted image or perform a transform skip by which the orthogonal transform is not applied, and an orthogonal transform unit which performs processing selected on the basis of the determination, the image coding device comprising a quantization unit which, when the transform skip is selected on the basis of the determination, quantizes the transform block using a first quantization matrix in which the quantization roughnesses of all elements previously shared with a decoding side are equal, and when the orthogonal transform is applied to the transform block on the basis of the determination, quantizes the transform block using the first quantization matrix or a second quantization matrix that is transmitted to the decoding side.

  • Patent number: 11412260
Abstract: A decoder may perform a method of decompressing images that include texture features that are not aligned with an axis of the image being compressed. In some example implementation, the method may include receiving a block of geometrically transformed pixel values and performing an inverse geometric transformation on the block of geometrically transformed pixel values to generate a first block of pixel values. The geometrically transformed pixel values represent texture features of an image that are non-parallel with a vertical axis or a horizontal axis of the image and the first block of pixel values being one of a plurality of blocks of the image. The example method may further include generating at least a portion of the image based on the first block of pixel values.

  • Patent number: 11102494
Abstract: The method for scanning a transform coefficient of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining a reference transform block for a block to be decoded; deriving a scanning map of the block to be decoded using scanning information of the reference transform block; and executing a reverse-scan on the transform coefficient of the block to be decoded using the derived scanning map. The present invention enhances image encoding/decoding efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10796163
Abstract: An apparatus provides a quick view of security events by transformation of surveillance video streams stored over many hours. Images captured at one or more video surveillance cameras are transformed into a summary of activities by triggering on contents within the views. Selected key images are bookended by anticipatory or consequential frames for better comprehension. Variable masking scopes the date-times of interest to a display user. A frame selection process is triggered by video encoding and compression indicia to eliminate duplication and inactivity. Hours of H.264 encoded video are reduced to seconds of surveillance animation. Motion indicia in video frames and pixel blocks steer the short summary. Timespans and camera views of inactivity are purged from the summary. To meet time management budgets, the report is transmitted to a display/selection apparatus as a mix of still images and video activity glimpses.

  • Patent number: 10002640
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to generation of an output hyper-lapse video from an input video. A smoothed camera path can be computed based upon the input video. Further, output camera poses can be selected from the smoothed camera path for output frames of the output hyper-lapse video. One or more selected input frames from the input video can be chosen for an output frame. The selected input frames can be chosen based at least in part upon an output camera pose for the output frame. Moreover, the selected input frames can be combined to render the output frame. Choosing selected input frames from the input video and combining the selected input frames can be performed for each of the output frames of the output hyper-lapse video.

  • Patent number: 9762915
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can acquire a first media content item. First mage dimensions associated with the first media content item can be determined. A first compression amount to be applied to the first media content item can be determined based on the first image dimensions associated with the first media content item. The first compression amount can be variable based on the first image dimensions associated with the first media content item. The first media content item can be compressed based on the first compression amount.

  • Patent number: 9471833
Abstract: During this information-extraction technique, a user of the electronic device may be instructed by an application executed by the electronic device (such as a software application) to point an imaging sensor, which is integrated into the electronic device, at a location on a document. For example, the user may be instructed to point a cellular-telephone camera at a field on an invoice. After providing the instruction and before the user activates an image-activation mechanism associated with the imaging device, the electronic device captures multiple images of the document by communicating a signal to the imaging device to acquire the images. Then, the electronic device stores the images with associated timestamps and spatial-position information, which is provided by a sensor which is integrated into the electronic device. After the user activates the image-activation mechanism, the electronic device analyzes the images to extract the information proximate to the location on the document.
