In addition, when the SIP server receives the call signal addressed to the callee side terminal, the SIP server includes a warning that the caller number is disguised in a warning signal when an international call identifier indicating that the call signal passes through a foreign country is set in the call signal and the caller number of the call signal is a number from a country in which the callee side terminal is located.

Abstract: A configuration to allow a wireless device having one or more TRPs to configure the one or more TRPs based on configurations of other wireless devices. The apparatus detects a second wireless device in a vicinity of a first wireless device. The apparatus determines a duplex configuration of the second wireless device. The apparatus enables a duplex configuration of the first wireless device to correspond with the duplex configuration of the second wireless device. The apparatus communicates with the second wireless device based on the duplex configuration.

Abstract: A communication apparatus for communicating with an information processing apparatus includes a memory containing instructions and a processor to execute the instructions to function as a communication unit to perform communication between the communication apparatus and the information processing apparatus, an analysis unit to analyze an execution request of a function of the communication apparatus using a predetermined communication protocol that has been received from the information processing apparatus, and an execution unit to, when the execution request of the function is determined to not comply with a specification of the predetermined communication protocol because the execution request of the function does not include header information as a result of the analysis by the analysis unit, transmit a response using the predetermined communication protocol on condition that at least the execution request of the function is an execution request of a specific function, and execute the specific function.

The switch may then avoid connecting a call to the unavailable agent.

Abstract: A system and method for tracking call activity of a plurality of businesses is disclosed. A global pool of phone numbers is allocated from which to draw numbers. A business-specific pool of numbers is established for business locations involved in advertisements using the Internet via Web pages. As a consumer begins viewing an advertisement for a business, a number is temporarily allocated from the business's pool of available numbers. As the business's pool of unallocated numbers is exhausted, a metric is used to determine whether or not to grow the pool of numbers, to show an untracked ‘fallback’ number for the business, or to reuse a previously allocated number. When one of the temporarily allocated numbers is called, the online consumer it was associated with is credited for making the call and the business is credited and charged for receiving the call.

Abstract: When a transmission of image data to a destination has not been completed, retransmission processing in which the image data is repeatedly transmitted to the destination is performed and the number of times the transmission has been performed is counted. When the number is higher than a predetermined value, the sender is informed about the occurrence of transmission error and whether the modification of destination information has been requested is determined. When the modification has been requested, the destination information is modified; when the modification has not been requested, the destination information is deleted and then the deletion of the destination information is informed. When stored destination information including destinations of data is wrong, the use of the destination information is inhibited, which prevents users as recipients from feeling displeasure.

Abstract: There is provided a method of notifying a caller of confirmation of a voice or text message in a wireless communication system. A calling mobile station transmits a voice or text message to a called mobile station. If the called mobile station senses confirmation of the received voice or text message, it notifies a calling mobile station of the message confirmation via a confirmation message. Upon receipt of the confirmation message, the calling mobile station alerts a caller to receipt of the confirmation message.

Abstract: Methods for managing and routine multiple telephone calls through a wireless network provide efficient and cost-effective ways in which a subscriber to the network can take advantage of the multiple services being offered. When the subscriber has only one line in the network, or when the subscriber often uses more than one line, multiple telephone calls may attempt transmission to the subscriber and so the subscriber may miss the call. The inventive methods determine what type of incoming call is attempting to contact the subscriber and routes the call to another location, such as the subscriber's voice mail, if the subscriber is otherwise occupying his or her line or lines in the network. The methods are particular useful for storing and forwarding facsimile messages to subscriber.

Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for managing e-mail messages. A local copy of the e-mail message is stored on the data processing system for a selected period of time in response to sending an e-mail message to a recipient from a data processing system. A determination is made as to whether the local copy of the e-mail message is present in response to receiving a notification that the recipient is unable to respond. The local copy of the e-mail message is retrieved if the local copy of the e-mail message is present to form a retrieved e-mail message. The retrieved e-mail message is presented.
