Abstract: A system and method for providing real-time router telemetry data to a customer. The system includes a response cache and a processor. The processor pulls, in response to a request from a management application, telemetry data from a device for all features identified for a customer starting an active session on the management application. The processor sends the telemetry data to the management application for display, stores the telemetry data in the response cache, and initiates a subscription process for each identified feature. Each subscription process listens for changes in telemetry data for an associated identified feature and pushes detected changes in the telemetry data to the response cache. The processor sends, in response to a request from the management application for a customer selected identified feature, real-time updates to telemetry data associated with the customer selected identified feature from the response cache to the management application.

Abstract: A conferencing device receives an indication that a mobile device is in proximity to the conferencing device. The conferencing device receives information, directly from the mobile device, that indicates that the conferencing device is to establish or join a communication session with one or more communication endpoints. The information that indicates that the first conferencing device is to establish or join the communication session with the one or more communication endpoints is based on information that is personal to a user of the mobile device. Once the communication session is established, the conferencing device communicates with the one or more communication endpoints in the communication session. In an alternative embodiment, a printer/scanner can be managed based on personal information received directly from the mobile device.

Abstract: Technologies are described to increase a data limit for a user of a communication application by introducing additional archive mailboxes as the original archive fills up or subsequently added archive mailboxes fill up. Thus, a user's data limit may be effectively removed through the use of N additional archive mailboxes. The additional mailboxes may be integrated into the architecture of the communication application such that their use is transparent to the user and/or an administrator of the communication application or associated service. In other examples, additional mailboxes may be used to add to the capacity of the primary mailbox (cached) as well.

Abstract: Automated unavailability response for call handling is used to notify an incoming caller that a subscriber is unavailable to answer the incoming call. An incoming call that is initiated from an originating caller device is received at a network server for routing to a terminating user device of a specific subscriber. A user profile of the specific subscriber that includes one or more unavailability notification settings for the incoming call is retrieved from a user profile database. An unavailability notification message is selected from a data store based at least on the one or more unavailable notification settings. The unavailability notification message is sent from the network server to the originating caller device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for application agnostic federation service to facilitate cross connectivity of messaging and communications platforms are described. In an embodiment, a method is provided for operating a cross-messaging platform to communicate messages between a first user registered on a first messaging platform and a second user registered on a second messaging platform. The method includes registering the first user, receiving a request from the first user to connect with the second user, and sending an invitation to the second user to connect with the first user. The method also includes registering the second user if the second user accepts the invitation, and establishing a communication channel between the first messaging platform and the second messaging platform so that communication between the first and second users occur using the communication channel.

Abstract: According to one implementation, a multi-protocol message distribution system includes a computing platform having a hardware processor and a system memory storing a multi-protocol messaging software code. The hardware processor is configured to execute the multi-protocol messaging software code to receive a first video stream including programming content and at least one command message for distribution to multiple destination devices. The first video stream further includes multiple command message protocols for enabling execution of the command message.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are provided for providing category-sensitive chat channels. A category-sensitive chat channel may be provided. The category-sensitive chat channel may be assigned a given category level. The given category level may determine a scope of content allowed in the category-sensitive chat channel. Information to be posted through the category-sensitive chat channel may be obtained. The obtained information may be filtered based on the given category level. The filtered information may be posted in the category-sensitive chat channel.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods concerning routing of calls in an IPBX are disclosed. As an example, one apparatus includes an IPBX server configured to route VoIP calls for a plurality of end-users having respective VoIP-enabled devices communicatively coupled to the IPBX via a network. A user-activity detection circuit is communicatively coupled to the IPBX server. The user-activity detection circuit is configured to receive activity data indicating activity of end-users in a virtual office environment and receive event messages indicating statuses of pending calls in the IPBX server. The user-activity detection circuit determines user-activity statuses of the end-users based on received activity data and event messages. A computing server is communicatively coupled to the user-activity detection circuit and is configured to provide a set of services for one or more of the plurality of users as a function of the determined user-activity statuses of the end-user.

Abstract: Embodiments determine message text content amount limits as a function of recipient context, wherein in some embodiments processors are configured to determine whether a physical proximity distance of a recipient of an electronic message to another, identified person is within a minimum specified threshold distance. In response to determining that the physical proximity distance is within the minimum specified threshold distance, some embodiments compare a total amount of text content of the message to a threshold maximum content value; and, in response to determining that the total amount of the message text content exceeds the threshold maximum content value, notify a sender of the message that the threshold maximum content value currently applies to messages sent to the recipient.

The resulting “telephone call inbox” is a way for a client view pay per call advertising as a stream of consumers with information available to understand the call activity of the consumers and for the client to navigate their call history. The system automatically filters non-consumer fraudulent calls, extracts the identity of a consumer, aggregates several calling entities into a single consumer, transcribes the call into a call stream using voice recognition software, extracts patterns and draws conclusions from the call stream, and presents a list of call streams in a user friendly set of web pages configured as the telephone call inbox.
