Abstract: A contributed test management system receives a first request from a consumer system, where the first request comprises a request for a contributed test to be added to a deployment pipeline of a producer system, and where the contributed test is associated with an application component in the deployment pipeline. The contributed test management system causes the contributed test to test a code update provided by the producer system for the application component in the deployment pipeline, detects whether the first test fails during execution, and, if so indicates to the consumer system that the first test has failed.

Abstract: A system to place online advertisements on a first page includes a display output to render a primary advertisement on at least a portion of a first web page and a timer to measure a first predetermined period of time that the first web page is displayed. The system includes an advertisement controller, coupled to the display output and the timer, to switch the primary advertisement to display a secondary advertisement on the portion of the first web page. The advertisement controller is further responsive to a request to recall the primary advertisement after the switching has occurred and to switch the secondary advertisement with the primary advertisement.

Abstract: Techniques for use in messaging from a portable communication device having a camera module are described. In an instant communication session, the portable device displays a message thread involving two or more participants and a text input field for entering text. In response to an input to capture an image, the portable device automatically captures a photographic image via the camera module, attaches the photographic image to a message, and sends the message to at least one of the two or more participants.

Abstract: A web based menu system that allows the users such as buyers and sellers to locate, purchase, and sell goods, items and services easily without any search queries. At the web site, the user first selects a category followed by a selection of makes, items, or services called a Sub-Category that relate to the category. This process repeats until the user reaches the finite end of the menu series. The user can filter and sort the presentation of ads based on various criteria and place requests for instant notification of subsequent new ad placements. Sellers can also grow the database based on their menu selections and form input. The system can be used for retreiving any orderly classification of information.

Abstract: A scanned image of a document includes a pair of fiducial marks, and a code mark between and at least substantially collinear with the pair of fiducial marks. A location of a feature within the scanned image of the document, other than the pair of fiducial marks and the code mark, is determined based on the pair of fiducial marks and the code mark within the scanned image.

Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing apparatus, a method of controlling the image processing apparatus, a program and a storage medium that can increase security strength of encoded data, printed on a recording medium. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image to be a document is read and is subjected to image processing, and thereby digital data is acquired. Next, the above-described digital data is encoded to generate a first encoded data. Next, information on a process of decoding the digital data from the first encoded data is encoded to generate second encoded data.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides supplemental data for facsimile image data representing an image of a document for transmission. The supplemental data can describe an aspect of the document, such as by uniquely identifying the document that the facsimile image data represents. The supplemental data can be provided with the image of the document, in a manner that will not essentially obscure the image of the document. The supplemental data can be in a machine readable form that identifies the document and that can be separate from the image of the document. The supplemental data permits facsimile transmitted documents to be processed automatically by facsimile connected systems.
