Abstract: A multiple dwelling house interphone system includes a collective entrance machine, a dwelling room master device, and a management master device. The management master device is installed in a manager room to speak with the visitor or the dweller. The multiple dwelling house interphone system has a reception mode in which a call to any dwelling unit from the collective entrance machine is uniformly transmitted to the management master device. The management master device includes a forwarding button and a forwarding control section. The forwarding button re-forwards a call in the reception mode to an original calling destination. The forwarding control section re-forwards the call to the dwelling room master device of a dwelling unit as the original calling destination when the forwarding button is operated when a speech path is formed with the collective entrance machine in response to the call forwarded in the reception mode.

Abstract: An active protection system for protecting an object includes a first lens, a second lens, a processing unit and an alarm unit. The first lens is configured to receive first light and generate a first image. The second lens is configured to receive second light and generate a second image. The processing unit is configured to obtain a characteristic value of the object from the second image, determine whether the characteristic value reaches a pre-set value, and judge whether the object is regulated in a predetermined period after the characteristic value reaches the pre-set value. The alarm unit is configured to raise an alarm under control of the processing unit if the object is not regulated in the predetermined period after the characteristic value reaches the pre-set value.

Abstract: In a monitoring camera system, a master device registers a smartphone and a wireless router therein in advance. If sensor detection information is received from a human sensor, the master device requests a monitoring camera to transmit image/audio data, and sends image/audio data transmitted from the monitoring camera to the smartphone via the wireless router. The smartphone displays the image data sent from the monitoring camera on a touch panel.

Abstract: A method for using a doorbell to remotely identify a visitor, comprising the use of a doorbell apparatus that comprises a speaker, a microphone, a camera, and a button with an audible response to a visitors input, further using the doorbell to detect the visitor while the visitor is located outside of a secured lodging, and within a detectable range of the doorbell, further using the doorbell to take a video of the visitor while the visitor accepts lodging terms, recording the video to validate that the visitor accepted the lodging terms and sending the video of the visitor from the doorbell to a remote computing device for displaying images of the visitor on the remote computing device for the purposes of verifying the identity of the visitor and then enabling the visitor to control the lock in response to the identity verification.

Abstract: A method and system for displaying and producing computer based documents seamlessly to users that relate to their telephone calls is provided. The invention is able to be used with social media, where the mobile station searches for the social media page of the caller based on the Caller ID and displays it to the recipient of the call on the mobile station screen, possibly with other Internet search results. The method and system allow the user to obtain the newest public information about the person who calls him or he decides to call, or any documents that might be intermittent between the people. The system adds “bandwidth”, i.e. speed, efficiency and more dimensions to personal communication, as the users of the inventive system can also visually see by documentation what is going on in the relationship between two or more people.

Abstract: A security system has a camera; a sensor generating a signal in response to a triggering event, and a management module. The triggering event is one of an actuation of a doorbell button, an actuation of a bell connected to and operated by a doorbell button, door opening detection, motion detection, proximity detection and infrared (IR) beam interruption. The management module is adapted to send data to be received by a remote communication device upon generation by the sensor of the signal generated in response to the triggering event. The management module is also adapted to initiate a connection between the remote communication device and the camera, the connection permitting data exchange between the remote communication device and the camera. The security system allows a person located in a vicinity of the camera installed at a building or a house to communicate with a user of a remote communication device.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual-channel analog door entry system and a method thereof. The dual-channel analog door entry system comprises two cables connected between the building gateway and the floor distributors, configured to transmit audio and/or video signals between the outdoor stations and indoor phones; the building gateway, configured to receive a call request from at least one of the outdoor stations, identify and assign an available cable as an intercom channel, send the call request to each of the floor distributors via the intercom channel, and switch the audio and/or video signals from the outdoor station to the available cable; at least one of floor distributors, configured to receive and forward the call request to a desired indoor phone, receive a call response from the desired indoor phone if the desired indoor phone is available, and switch the audio and/or video signals from the available cable to the desired indoor phone.

A code segment analyzes the telephonic communication by translating the received voice data into a text format, the text format defining a plurality of components. At least one component of the text data and communication event data occurring during a time interval is classified into one of a plurality of object types, and the computer application data during the time interval is compared to the object type of the classified components.

In the proposed method and apparatus, an image (which may have advertising content) is displayed to a caller and a recipient prior to relaying a caller message. This supplementary image may take the place of conventional text such as CALLING. On audio/visual equipment, an audio message may take the place of a ringing tone.

Abstract: Disclosed is a door intercom system, which is installed on a door of a community for communicating with and identifying a visitor and opening/closing the door through a network by an inhabitant among a plurality of inhabitants of the community and capable of transferring data to a system provider through the network. The door intercom system has a central processing unit (CPU) connected to a database, a dialing key module, a display module, a video and audio processing module and a network interface, respectively. In the database, inhabitant codes, network logon numbers and identification numbers of the plurality of inhabitants are stored. When the visitor inputs an inhabitant code through the dialing key module, the CPU acquires the network logon number corresponding to the inhabitant and is communicatively connected to the network through the network interface, the network being connected at the other end to the inhabitant end or the system provider through a public switched telephone network (PSTN).

Abstract: The invention is a messaging subsystem used in combination with a software based intercom system for receiving and handling voice telephone calls from a plurality of callers and/or notes. The invention comprises a message pad module resident in the intercom system for capturing information pertaining to the voice telephone calls from the plurality of callers and/or notes. A database stores information obtained from the callers and/or notes other than the captured information. A computer module or program correlates the captured information to the corresponding stored information obtained from the callers and/or notes in the database. In the preferred embodiment, the database comprises a patient treatment database corresponding to treatment provided to a patient, such as a dental or medical history.

Abstract: A multifunctional intercom system having message recording/retrieval functions, a remote control unit, and music playing capabilities, wherein the various buttons are labeled in Braille for use by hearing impaired individuals. The intercom system comprises a main control panel, a front door intercom/message unit, a plurality of room intercom units, and a remote control unit, each capable of transmitting and receiving sound from one another. The main control panel has a CD player and a clock radio, and is capable of selectively broadcasting music to the front door intercom/message unit and to the plurality of room intercom units. Messages left at the front door intercom/message unit may be retrieved at the main control panel, or by calling the intercom system from an outside phone line. In use, the user programs a private security code into the intercom system. Unauthorized individuals without knowledge of the private security code are unable to access the messages left upon the message recorder.

Abstract: A doorbell unit capable of displaying several status indicators or messages next to its activation button. The activation button is located on a display panel. The user can set the display panel to show a variety of messages, including “Do Not Ring,” “Ring With Care,” “Welcome,” or a custom text message. The display panel is preferably controlled by logic circuitry located within a controller, which replaces the conventional chime unit. A remote control is provided, so that the user can alter the status of the device without having to access the controller.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system and method of controlling access to an entrance. In a particular embodiment, the method includes receiving a first signal, first data, or any combination thereof, at an audio video transport system indicating that a request to access an entrance has been received via a security system. The method also includes determining a set-top box device associated with the request. Further, the method includes sending a second signal, second data, or any combination thereof, to a network terminal indicating that the request has been received, wherein the network terminal communicates video content of an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) system to the set-top box device. The network terminal communicates an alert to the set-top box device indicating that the request has been received, the alert overlaying the video content at a display device coupled to the set-top box device.

The name retrieval module has a memory in which a name and/or apartment number of a resident is registered in advance, a button operable to display the name and/or apartment number of the resident registered in advance, a name indicator for display of the name and/or apartment number of the resident registered in advance, and a call button that is operated with display of the proper name and/or apartment number to call the residential master station of the resident.

Abstract: A doorphone is provided with a camera, a microphone, a button serving as an input device, and a loudspeaker serving as an output device. When a visitor pushes the button, the camera starts recording an image and the microphone becomes ready for input of voice. The doorphone sends the recorded image and the input voice to an operation panel. The doorphone sends the recorded image and the input voice to the home server as well. Upon reception of the image and the voice, the home server recognizes which sensor senses a user through the use of a LAN, and selects a video/audio device (e.g., a personal computer) associated with that sensor as a data destination device. The image and voice received from the doorphone are transferred to the selected video/audio device through the LAN.

Abstract: A parallel-connected dialing signal detection and transmission-inhibiting device is disclosed which detects dual-tone multi-frequency dialing signals across tip and ring conductors of a telephone link and switches in an a.c. load that attenuates the dialing signals by at least 30 dB. This prevents action in response to the DTMF signals by a central office servicing the telephone link, thereby allowing commands-data to be transmitted within the home telephone wiring. Such commands can be used to invoke a speed/auto dialing function, to provide an intercom, to control appliances, etc. To allow fast response, the controller charges a capacitor of the a.c. load by connecting it across the tip and ring conductors in response to an off-hook condition. Then it is disconnected to allow a dial tone to reach a user at the telephone. Further transparency is provided by the fact that a single interfacing capacitor connects both the dialing signal detector and a tone generator to the tip line.
