Abstract: A Bluetooth device controlling a plurality of wireless audio devices, includes: a wireless communication circuit, to receive a wireless audio device identifier from each wireless audio device; a sound processing circuit to apply independent audio effects on a main audio stream such that the sound processing circuit outputs as many modified audio streams as the wireless communication circuit has received identifiers of wireless audio devices, on the basis of the characteristics of each wireless audio device; an allocation circuit to allocate each modified audio stream to a respective wireless audio device; and a transmission circuit to wirelessly transmit through a Bluetooth usage each modified audio stream to the respective wireless audio device for emission by the wireless audio devices.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a battery circuit is disclosed that includes a plurality of battery cells. The plurality of battery cells includes at least one connected battery cell and at least one disconnected battery cell. A first switch is configured to disconnect a particular one of the at least one connected battery cells, and a second switch is configured to connect a particular one of the at least one disconnected battery cells. A controller is configured to control the first and second switches based on a detected condition in the particular connected battery cell.

Abstract: A surround acoustic box system comprises at least a first separable acoustic box, at least a separable second acoustic box and a host acoustic box body, wherein the first separable acoustic box and the second separable acoustic box respectively has a forward speaker unit and a left front speaker for providing forward channels, and the host acoustic box body is a horizontal bar-like acoustic box and further includes a console circuit module, a power supply circuit module, at least a first positioning sensor part, at least a second positioning sensor part, at least two front speakers and at least two top speakers, in which the first separable acoustic box and the second separable acoustic box can be attached to the host acoustic box body or otherwise detached from the host acoustic box body so as to achieve various surround channel effects through the controls of the console circuit module.

Abstract: An accessory for use with a portable electronic device receives audio signals from the portable electronic device and broadcasts the signals to a set of wireless speakers. The accessory device includes a dock for coupling to the portable electronic device such that audio signals, a power supply signal and digital communication signals can be transferred between the accessory and the device. The accessory receives the audio signals and transmits them to the speakers via a transmitter. The accessory also provides an audio output and video output such that audio and video files can be transferred from the portable electronic device through the accessory to an external device. Preferably, an inductive charging circuit is used to charge a rechargeable power supply in the speakers when the speakers are positioned in a speaker dock on the accessory body.

Abstract: A sound processing system including a user headset for use in tactical military operations provides integrated sound and speech analysis including sound filtering and amplification, sound analysis and speech recognition for analyzing speech and non-speech sounds and taking programmed actions based on the analysis, recognizing language of speech for purposes of one-way and two-way voice translation, word spotting to detect and identify elements of conversation, and non-speech recognition and identification. The headset includes housings with form factors for insulating a user's ear from direct exposure to ambient sounds with at least one microphone for receiving sound around the user, and a microphone for receiving user speech. The user headset can further include interconnections for connecting the headset with out systems outside of the headset, including target designation systems, communication networks, and radio transmitters.

The headset has programmable device and a transceiver. The base has a programming device. The programming device programs the programmable device in the headset to control the transceiver to communicate directly with any cordless telephone base station, allowing hands free use of the telephone.

Abstract: A cordless digital audio headphone is disclosed. The headphone includes a pair of earphones connected to a headband. The earphones provide audible signals. The headphone also includes a memory unit positioned on the headband for containing digitally stored audio information. A processor is disposed on the headband, and is coupled to the memory unit for retrieving the digitally stored information from the memory unit. An analog to digital converter receives the digitally stored audio information, and provides the audible signal to the earphones.

The receiver includes a plurality of LED's positioned along the front upper edge of a housing for providing a visual indication of signals received by the receiver. The LED display is positioned such that they may be easily viewed from a variety of locations relative to the housing of the receiver and ranging from a location directly in front of the receiver to a location directly above the receiver. In addition, a clip member is provided on a rear portion of the housing for supporting the receiver from a person's belt as well as for acting as a leg to support the housing in an upright position.
