Abstract: A wireless communication system comprises a base station and one or more relay docks and transmits directional wave signals between components using high frequency waves, such as millimeter waves. A beam forming decision engine utilizes position information collected from one or more position or motion sensors of a user device to determine a direction in which to form a directional wave signal being transmitted between components of the wireless communication system.

Abstract: A clamping device for a protection casing of an electronic device serves to clamp a protection casing for receiving an electronic device. The protection casing includes an upper cover for covering an upper side of the electronic device and a lower cover for covering a lower side of the electronic device; and in assembly state, the upper cover is connected to the lower cover to enclose the electronic device. The clamping device comprises an upper clamping frame and a lower clamping frame for clamping the protection casing therein. A combining structure is arranged on lateral sides of the upper clamping frame and the lower clamping frame for combining the upper clamping frame and the lower clamping frame so that the upper clamping frame and the lower clamping frame clamp the protection casing tightly and thus the protection casing retains its function for a long time.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for connecting users based on a measure of correlation. The method involves receiving a first activity data element associated with a first user, where the first activity data element includes activity information related to a first software application, receiving a second activity data element associated with a second user, where the second activity data element includes activity information related to the first software application, and determining, via a processing unit, a measure of correlation between the first and second activity data elements. The method further involves determining, based on the measure of correlation between the first and second activity data elements, that a connection between the first user and the second user should be facilitated, and facilitating a connection between the first user and the second user.

Such that back cover is not only used to protect the batteries, but also to be light sources, signaling lights, spare batteries, speakers, and the like. To use, it is only necessary to install the back cover on the intelligent terminal, in order to be automatically energized via the spring probe assembly. The back covers are selectively changed based on the requirements of users, to improve intelligence of the back cover.

Abstract: A system and method for establishing patterns of social behavior for users of mobile devices. An administrator registers a person of interest with a service by identifying a mobile device used by the person of interest and generates one or more rules. The registered mobile device monitors network traffic of other surrounding mobile devices and sends their unique identifiers to the service. The service accesses one or more registries to identify users associated with the other surrounding mobile devices. The service determines whether any rule infractions occur based on one or more of the identified users, distances between the registered mobile device and other surrounding devices, frequencies of occurrences of mobile devices being relatively near and detected time periods. If any rule infractions occur, then the service generates an alert and sends it to the administrator.

A signal strength is determined by a wireless intrusion detection system (WIDS) node in a wireless network for each wireless access device that it detects. Based on the signal strength, an approximate distance from the node is determined, which, in one embodiment corresponds to a radius of a circle around the node. To account for error, an approximation band of the circle is calculated that will allow a user to determine the approximate location of the device within the wireless network.

The mobile device can display images without a pooling phenomenon, and reduce the chance of malfunction when the user touches the panel assembly via the cover window.
