Based on the collected data, the system can dynamically adapt the user's goals and/or activities the user is performing or will perform. In some embodiments of the present invention, the lifestyle companion system of the present invention can be applied to fitness, nutrition, and/or medical modules. The method includes initiating, by a computing device, an announcement session in response to a user device establishing communication with the computing device and determining, by the computing device, the announcement message to be played back to the user device. The method includes loading, by the computing device, into a queue associated with the announcement session, a descriptor referencing a memory buffer on the computing device. The memory buffer includes a plurality of memory partitions, each memory partition storing at least one portion of the announcement message encoded at a different rate. After the customized message is prepared, incoming callers who have been associated with the customized message are presented with the customized message before being connected to the called party. If the incoming call is not from a telephone directory number associated with the customized message, the incoming call is processed according to normal call processing methods.

A plurality of telephony signaling messages are received and converted into an electronic meeting application format. The meeting or conferencing system generates metadata from any one or more of the telephony signaling messages, electronic information presented during an electronic meeting, or the like, where the metadata is associated with a particular meeting event time. The metadata, stored in a meeting metadata file, is synchronized with the telephone audio and the electronic information that was stored in the electronic meeting archive using a meeting start time and the meeting event times. The telephone audio may then be replayed responsive to and synchronized with the information obtained from the metadata.

Abstract: A software solution to recording IP based communications that is highly scalable and reliable. Recordings can be configured to occur automatically or be triggered on-demand by a user that has been given the rights to do so. The user initiating the on-demand recording need not be a participant on the call. The solution is based on two server components: a call manager and a media server. The call manager is responsible for re-routing the IP media stream between two endpoints via the media server. The media server relays the IP media packets while capturing a copy that is stored as the recording. The recordings are stored on a network share and secured using standard network file security mechanisms. Access to playback recordings requires rights that are configured via the administrator. Playback of the recordings can be accomplished via the phone, client application or web service. Each playback interface offers a listing of recordings that the user has rights to access.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a ringtone uploading service method and system used in color ring back tone (CRBT) service. The present invention is that when a ringtone system successfully uploads a ringtone to at least one but not all ringtone servers, it records ringtone uploading information, sends a message about the successful uploading of the ringtone to an uploading terminal, and re-uploads the ringtone to the ringtone servers to which the ringtone has not been successfully uploaded. The ringtone uploading solution proposed in the present invention will greatly improve the success rate of ringtone uploading.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer program products, and methods of doing business by selectably mixing one or more sound files with a telephone caller's voice message, either as background for that message or embedded within the message. Or, the mixing may occur within a telephone conversation between parties. The disclosed techniques enable alleviating some of the problems that result from distance communication (as contrasted to face-to-face communication). In particular, context information (such as emotional context) can be provided through appropriate use of background sound and/or embedded audio files. The disclosed techniques may also make communication through voice mail exchange more enjoyable and/or increase its productivity.
