    Abstract: A lightweight, portable lateral heat press machine that allows an operator to quickly and economically transfer graphic characters or images using an ink transfer paper process or a sublimation process, or vinyl onto the surface of a garment or an object. The device includes a vertical aligned sliding arm assembly perpendicularly aligned to a horizontally aligned chassis assembly. Attached to the chassis assembly is at least one workstation assembly and a console. The workstation assembly includes a pedestal with an exchangeable, horizontally aligned lower platen that may be selectively rotated and locked in portrait or landscape orientation and a height and pressure adjustment feature. The sliding arm assembly extends upward and forward and includes a heated, upper platen attached to a manually operated plunger. The console contains the controls for operating the heating element inside the upper platen and a timer.

    Abstract: The invention concerns an ironing press including a base bearing an ironing plate, a sleeve board and an articulated arm for manoeuvring a heating plate, movable between two positions. In one position, the heating plate is pressed against the ironing plate or the sleeve board. The ironing plate and the sleeve board are mounted on the base so as to enable their alternating displacement from a working position to a retracted position. The ironing plate and the sleeve board are each articulated to the base and are interconnected by a linking member providing a kinematic linkage between them.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the application of crease setting composition comprises at least one movable arm 12 capable of insertion into a leg of a pair of trousers to be creased, the arm carrying at, or near, one end thereof an applicator head 20 comprising a nozzle 22 for the application of crease setting composition and guide means 24 for locating the nozzle within the crease to be treated. Means are provided, for example, a pump or compressed air, for urging crease setting composition through the nozzle into the crease to be set in timed relationship with the relative movement between the applicator head 20 and the trousers 34. A method of operation is also disclosed.
