    Abstract: Power amplifies are provided to correspond with a plurality of speaker units constituting a speaker array. Driving signals from the power amplifies are supplied to one terminals of the speaker units, and other terminals are connected a common line. Inverters are provided at preceding stages of the power amplifies such that the driving signals supplied to the speaker units being arranged adjacently have an opposite phase respectively. Since a correlation between the driving signals of the adjacent speaker units is high, a current flowing through the common line can be very reduced. An LED display panel can be driven by the similar method.

Accordingly, an efficiency of reproducing the sound source in a low frequency band as well as a high frequency band is superior, and a realistic three-dimensional sound system can be implemented.

The correction involves attenuating an input sound signal in the frequency band portion, based on the relationship between the frequencies of the input sound signal and the magnitude of influence to the recognition of the sound wave arrival direction. This attenuation is achieved by filtering using filter coefficients that are set by a first filter characteristic setting unit using hearing characteristic parameters that are set by a hearing characteristic setting unit.

    Abstract: A speaker includes a housing; a support assembly installed on the lower end of the housing to support the housing; at least one first speaker unit installed in the housing to reproduce a sound signal; and a second speaker unit installed in the support assembly to reproduce a sound signal which belongs to a low sound band. Openings are defined through both sides of the support assembly to transmit to the outside sound reproduced by the second speaker unit. A guide cone is provided to the lower end of the support assembly to guide sound toward the openings. The speaker unit can be installed in a baffle which is supported at the opened front end of the housing to be rotated about a vertical axis. Through rotating the baffle, the speaker unit can be actually rotated within a predetermined range to change a sound transmission direction.

A latch supported by the enclosure and extending from the window opening can be used to engage with the insert portion to automatically retain the support arm when the insert portion is inserted into the window opening. A post extends within the enclosure window and the insert portion engages the post so as to enable pivoting of the speaker enclosure about the support arm. A set screw extends through a channel of the support arm toward the mounting bracket and based on position of the screw, permits pivoting of the support arm about the mounting bracket.
