Abstract: A plastics shipping bag includes a closure flap which projects beyond the front wall, can be folded over the outer face of the front wall, and comprises a passage opening, which is configured and designed for the passage of a handle loop or handle of the front wall and/or rear wall, wherein the closure flap comprises at least one fastening means between the opening edge of the rear wall and the passage opening, which fastening means is configured and designed to close the opening end once the closure flap has been folded over onto the outer face of the front wall. The plastics shipping bag can be used for shipping foods, such as chilled foods.

Abstract: A tote bag including an outer shell defining a sidewall, wherein the outer shell also includes multiple shoulder straps, wherein the shoulder straps also include hand straps, and wherein the shoulder straps are configured to remain above a plane of the base of the bag when the tote bag is carried by the hand straps is disclosed. An inner bottom liner and the outer shell form a storage compartment with an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment. Further, a semi-rigid base configured to keep the tote bag upright is disclosed.

A handle assembly consists of a pair of substantially identical handle halves each formed by two longitudinally spaced ends fixed to one of the side folds to a respective side of the crease thereof and a middle section extending between the respective ends and formed unitarily therewith of plastic film. The middle sections are transversely spaced and form an open longitudinally extending gap at least 2 mm wide and aligned with the respective crease. The middle sections extend transversely over less than 80% of a transverse width of the one side fold and have outer edges space at least 5 mm from the respective side edges.

The gift bag and greeting card connect together to form the integrated assembly of the greeting bag that has a purposefully coordinated single decorative style. The gift bag and greeting card have individual decors that define alternative aspects of that particular theme of a decorative style. An attachment mechanism can also be included in the greeting bag that further fixes the greeting card to the gift bag. The attachment mechanism can have a third decor as well as a size and dimensions that can include an image or sentiment. A method is described wherein a greeting bag is selected by selecting a gift bag from a set of one or more gift bags that share a common decorative style. A greeting card is selected from a set of one or more greeting cards that share the same common decorative style with the gift bag.

The peripheral edge of the opening and a vicinity thereof, and a part connecting to the fold line are sewn. The double-layer portion is bonded by discontinuous ultrasonic sealing. Attachment portions between the double-layer portion and the handles are sewn.

Abstract: A continuous band for producing bags for fruit and vegetable products is formed from a continuous plastic sheet which has been die-cut to produce a series of small holes which are closed using mesh or net fragments fixed along the periphery of the holes by heat-sealing, gluing or any other conventional manner. An area of the continuous sheet intended to contain a handle is provided with a transverse patch of pre-determined hardness in order to reinforce the area used to hold the bag once it has been filled, such that the thickness of the band-forming plastic sheet can be significantly reduced, specifically by a value of the order of 40%, without affecting the performance of the bag in terms of mechanical strength since the area in which the greatest strains are concentrated corresponds exactly to the area containing the handle.

A second member of the multiple members has a recessed portion with a slot shape arranged to which the projecting portion of the first member corresponds. The multiple member are fit together by slidably moving the projecting portion of the first member to the recessed portion of the second member in a longitudinal direction of the case.

Abstract: A portable soft sided insulated container has an impermeable liner that provides a liquid holding barrier. The liner is folded from a single monolithic plastic sheet to reduce or eliminate the need for heat welded seams. The liner seats within the container and has a releasable attachment around its lip for mating with the rim of the container. The container has an insulated lid so that the entire assembly may be closed. The liner can be removed for cleaning, or replacement if punctured. When not in use the entire assembly can be folded into a collapsed position for storage. The container has two storage chambers that share a common insulated dividing wall.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a construction for flexible intermediate bulk containers which provides additional strength along the upper periphery, to preclude the tearing out of the material when a loaded container is lifted by a single lifting loop. By folding the upper portion of the container over upon itself, two layers of material are provided along the upper periphery, effectively doubling the strength of that portion of the container to which the lifting loops are attached. The second layer of material is extended downwardly along the side of the container at least a distance equal to the length of the lifting loop legs to be attached thereto. The lifting loop web straps are then sewn through the two layers of material, preferably with a series of box stitches.

Abstract: An extensible handle bag apparatus capable of being manufactured on conventional high-speed manufacturing equipment, wherein the handles of the bag apparatus are constructed from an extensible material which provide comfort to a person's hands when carrying the apparatus, as well as which provide substantial load carrying capabilities to the bag itself. One or more extensible handles are attached in a retracted position below the top peripheral edge of the bag until the handles are manually deployed by an individual making initial use of the fully constructed apparatus. The handles further include attachment regions which are initially stretched, independent of the remainder of the handles so as to increase the surface area for adherence directly to the bag itself and/or to corresponding handle attachment patches.

The top wall has a filling spout therethrough for access to the bag interior. The flexible bag is cube-shaped having four corners. At each corner a loop member extends above the top wall. The loop member is comprised of a straight section and a loop section. The straight section extending below the top wall is sewn to the side wall adjacent to each corner. Pockets are similarly sewn to an area adjacent each corner and cover the straight portion of the loop members. Semi-rigid tubular members with open ends enclose the straight portion of the loop members and extend downward into the pockets and upward above the top wall. The loop portions of the loop members extend above the top open end of the tubular members. A continuous elongated hoop passes freely through each loop and is the means for a lifting mechanism to engage the flexible bag.

The needle yarn used for the stitching is of not less than 4000 denier.
