Abstract: High-pressure cryogenic fluid conduits that deliver high-pressure cryogenic fluids from a first point to a second point. This high-pressure fluid conduit has a safety feature that is activated when the high-pressure cryogenic fluid conduit fails due to exposure to a predetermined force. The safety feature is activated by the fracture of an annular ring that is positioned at either end of the high-pressure fluid conduit and is calibrated to fracture when exposed to the predetermined force. Fracture of the annular ring closes valves at each end of the high-pressure fluid conduit, thereby stopping the flow of high-pressure fluid from the high-pressure fluid source as well as the escape of high-pressure fluid from the high-pressure fluid container.

Abstract: This invention is a sliding structure for a housing in which a guide rail formed on a lower housing and a groove for a guide rail formed on an upper housing engage and slide. An elastic body expanding and contracting 4 in a longitudinal direction of the guide rail and two pressing members located on both ends of the elastic body and subjected to respective opposite pressing forces from the elastic body are provided in parallel with the guide rail in the groove for a guide rail. At least one notch is formed on the elastic-body-disposed side of each of the guide rail and the groove for a guide rail in such a position that they can be opposed to each other in a sliding action process, and the two pressing members can take such positions that they press respective different housings in opposite directions through the notches.

Abstract: A printhead carrier having a zero clearance bearing arrangement includes a first open-faced bearing coupled to a dampener frame. The first open-faced bearing has a first bearing surface positioned to contact the cylindrical guide surface of a guide rod of an imaging apparatus. A second open-faced bearing is coupled to the dampener frame. The second open-faced bearing has a second bearing surface positioned to contact the cylindrical guide surface of the guide rod. The guide rod is diametrically positioned between the first open-faced bearing and the second open-faced bearing. An elastic foam member is interposed between the first open-faced bearing and the dampener frame. The elastic foam member is compressed to exert an expansion force between the first open-faced bearing and the dampener frame to load the second open-faced bearing on the guide rod in a zero-clearance relationship with the guide rod.

Abstract: A guiding device for a synchronous connector comprises a strip-like synchronous connector and at least one connecting member. Both ends of the synchronous connector are formed with two opposite fixing seats. The connecting member with elastic deformation characteristic is serially connected and fixed in the fixing seats at both ends of the synchronous connector, slide correspondingly to the clearance change during the operation of the two ends of the synchronous connector, and bend correspondingly to the turning action of the synchronous connector. By such arrangements, the elastic deformation characteristic of the connecting member can be utilized to avoid the collision interference with the rail wall surface, and the linear guiding device will be circulated smoothly and stably. In addition, the guiding device has the effect of absorbing the radial deformation of the synchronous connector and producing sufficient degree of freedom.
