Abstract: A molded bearing assembly for a molded wheel includes a synthetic resin outer bearing race element embedded in the hub of the molded wheel and having a cylindrical inner sliding, journal type bearing surface. An inner bearing assembly includes two molded synthetic resin bearing halves having continuous cylindrical outer bearing surfaces disposed within the outer bearing race in sliding engagement with the inner bearing surface of the outer race. The bearing halves of the inner bearing assembly abut each other at their inner ends and may include interlocking structural features at their inner ends that enable securing of the bearing halves together at their inner ends while presenting a continuous outer cylindrical bearing sliding surface that cooperates with the adjacent surface of the outer race. A wheel axle extends through the inner bearing assembly and supports the wheel and bearing assembly for rotation relative to a wheel support.

Abstract: Disclosed is a wheel of a vacuum cleaner which can be easily assembled and disassembled. The wheel has a hollow cylindrical hub incorporated with a cleaner body, a roller supporting the cleaner body while rolling on a floor, a support member, and a cap. The support member and the cap are fixed by a plurality of key protuberances and snap protuberances formed on the cap. The roller is rotatably supported by the support member while being in sliding contact with a plurality of ridges formed on a cylindrical outer surface of a support ring of the support member. The wheel enables a vacuum cleaner to be minimized in size.
Abstract: An industrial wheel for trolleys, carts, pulleys. And the like with a self lubricated bearing of fuoroplastic, or the like, that slants at an angle from the center of the wheel out to the rim, so as to have a larger surface area, with consequent lower force or friction. The slanted bearing also locates the wheel in the center, eliminating the need for retaining devices along sides of the wheel.
Abstract: An air conditioner includes a housing body in which are disposed a heat exchanger, a fan for circulating air across the heat exchanger, and a motor connected to one end of the fan for rotating the fan about an axis. Integrally formed on an opposite end of the fan is a bearing housing in which a bearing is disposed. The bearing has a center hole aligned with the axis. A bracket affixed to the housing includes a shaft which extends toward the fan and extends through the center hole of the bearing to rotatably support the fan.
Abstract: A system for fixating a shaft in its bearing casing as well as in a wiper installation the shaft is fixated in its bearing in that the annular gap between the shaft and the bearing is filled by the injection of a plastic material rendering optimum sealing and load bearing qualities.
Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing for a shaft comprising a first bearing member mountable on the shaft to be fixed thereto, and a second bearing member rotatably mountable about the coaxial with the first bearing member to define at least two annular bush receiving recesses, wherein the two or more annular bush receiving recesses are at least partially separated by at least one internal locating projection projecting from either the first or the second bearing member, and at least two annular bush members locatable one in each of the bush receiving recesses each said annular bush membering being adapted to dissipate heat during operation of the bearing by oscillating between a condition in which the annular bush member is stationary with respect to the first bearing member and rotatable with respect to the second bearing member is stationary with respect to the second bearing member and rotatable with respect to the first bearing member.
Abstract: A guide roller for guiding a tape being moved in contact therewith, which has a metal cylinder and a resin portion is able to augment a inertial moment of the roller guide without increment of the diameter of the guide roller to absorb the vibration of the tape.
Abstract: A mechanism for mounting a wheel to a mower deck having a mounting arm carrying a bolt. First bushings fitted within the wheel rotate about a sleeve fixed to the bolt. Second bushings adjacent the first bushings transfer axial forces from the wheel to the mounting arm. The second bushing is recessed within the first bushings in one embodiment, and within the wheel in another embodiment. Seals are formed between the second bushing and the first bushing in one embodiment, and between the second bushing and the wheel in the other embodiment in order to keep dirt and debris from coming between the contacting surfaces during operation.
Abstract: A filter for filtering liquids is proposed, in which the filter fabric along an arcuate path is mounted on a bearing element concomitantly rotating with the filter fabric. The bearing element is constituted by a rotatably mounted ring, which is mounted on a bearing inner ring connected to a wall of the filter. The seal between the bearing inner ring and the rotatably mounted ring is provided by an O-ring, which forms a radial or axial seal. In the case of the present filter, the inlet port is located in the rigid wall and its position and shape can be adapted to the particular requirements.
Abstract: A radial-type bearing which includes an outer tube-like member rotatable about a center axis and having an inner cylindrical bearing surface. An inner shaft-like member is disposed within the outer rotatable member. The inner member is stationary or non-rotatable and is generally coaxial with the outer rotatable member. A plurality of bearing pads have operative positions radially between the outer and inner members. The bearing pads are pivotally mounted on the stationary inner member for tilting movement in response to rotation of the outer member. The pads have outer bearing surfaces complementary to the inner bearing surface of the outer rotatable member.

Abstract: A rotary mounting for mounting a gear wheel relative to a frame, the gear wheel being constrained to rotate with a shaft such as a drive shaft, the mounting being constituted by: the gear wheel being mounted at one end of the shaft around the outer periphery thereof; an axial hollow in the end of the shaft opening out into the end transverse face of the shaft; a protuberance fixed to the frame and coaxial with the hollow, the protuberance being contained inside said hollow; and a single rotary bearing disposed between the protuberance and the hollow at the end of the shaft.
Abstract: A support and retainer for a shaft to be supported in spaced overlying relation to a base member as found in an odometer assembly, including an upstanding projection or post which has a bearing portion for support purposes and further including an adjacent retainer member which extends generally parallel to the post and has a free end normally overlying the shaft end but movable in the shaft's axial direction to allow passage of the shaft end against the post's bearing.

Abstract: Wheel structure for a trash container comprising an enhanced thickness hub portion defined by positioning a metal member within the locus of the wheel wall during molding so as to increase wall thickness by better heat transfer and increase resin buildup in the vicinity of the metal member. The metal member is usefully a fastener for the end of the wheel carrying axle whereby the position of the wheel on the axle is fixed by the fastening metal member being trapped in the increased wall thickness hub.
Abstract: A bearing having an outer race defining an internal channel and an inner race having integrally formed protrusions which extend into the outer race channel for load bearing support.
