Abstract: The invention relates to a swivel bearing (1) for a pressing mechanism of a closing device (5). In order to create a swivel bearing (1) that is easy to mount and inexpensive to produce, the pivotable unit (6) is connected to the base plate (3) by means of a journal (21) located on the pivotable unit (6).
Abstract: Bearing arrangement for a shaft rotatable around an axis of rotation comprising a bearing including an inner bearing part for coupling to an end of the shaft and an outer bearing part for coupling to a mounting structure, and a retaining and pivoting element, which is connectable to the inner bearing part or the outer bearing part, wherein the retaining and pivoting element is designed for securing the end of the shaft against movement in a direction in parallel with the axis of rotation (4) in relation to the bearing and for permitting the end of the shaft to be pivoted with respect to the axis of rotation, and an arrangement comprising the bearing arrangement and the shaft, as well as an oscillator comprising said arrangement.
Abstract: A plastic bearing for stabilizers in motor vehicles, which includes two half shells, which are connected to one another in one piece on a longitudinal side by a web, and whose longitudinal edges touch each other in the assembled state. The two half shells have, on the side of their web connection, one of two guide elements, which guide the half shells into the predetermined closed position during assembly. As a result, the two half shells can be vulcanized in a mold in a position in which they are swung open by 180.degree..
Abstract: To secure a cloth beam (2 ) of a loom in an open bearing shell (6) a resiliently borne tongue (7)is provided. The tongue includes a nosing (11) between two arms (10, 12) and is connected at one end of the first arm (10) to a bearing table (5). The nosing (11) secures a cloth beam journal (4) in the bearing. When the tongue (7) is pivoted by a lever (14) on the second arm (12) of the tongue (7), the nosing (11) moves away from the shell (6) so that the journal (4) can be moved out of the shell. Satisfactory securing of the journal (4) is therefore provided and the cloth beam (2) can be changed readily without the use of tools.
Abstract: A bearing holder for bearings mounted on journals includes a lower support socket secured to a frame, and a cover part pivotally connected with the socket. The cover part is able to be locked in a shut position, folded onto the bearing positioned in the support socket. In order to provide a bearing holder of this type, which makes possible the removal and insertion of the journals without releasing the cover parts by hand, and without having to be pivoted and locked for the purpose of opening and shutting, cover parts are pivotally bearinged on two upper lateral parts of the support socket about axes which are parallel to the journal. Such cover parts include an upper, longer arm and a lower, shorter arm of a two-armed lever.
Abstract: A quick-opening bearing block containing a set of bearings to support a rotating shaft comprising a block base, mountable to a supporting surface, containing the lower bearing, a cover hinged to the base, containing the upper bearing, where the hinge is spaced apart from the bearings, and a T-shaped fastener mounted on the base between the bearings and the hinge, adapted to pass through a slot formed in the cover, to permit the cover to be opened and closed quickly, and thereafter locked down in closed position on top of the base to support the shaft in the bearings by simply twisting the fastener out of alignment with the slot.
