Each project includes one or more segments, which may be specified by a user directly, or may be specified by the template selected by the user. An effect is applied to each segment, wherein the effect specifies how many video and audio slots are included in the segment, if any, and can specify one or more other properties of the segment. Projects generated using embodiments disclosed herein can be saved and shared with other users.

Because the multiple smart devices that perform synchronous playback are generally in one local area network, a transmission delay of frame information from the first device to the second device can be ignored, thereby improving a synchronization effect among the multiple smart devices.

The colors of the pixels that are selected form part of the chroma key, which also includes a tolerance range based on the colors. The chroma key is expanded as more areas of the image are selected, until all the entire background set is selected. Chroma keying is carried out using the HSB (hue, saturation, brightness) convention.

Once optimal loop parameters are determined, a crossfade may be added to smooth out any temporal and spatial discontinuities in the AutoLoop output video.

    Abstract: Various embodiments described herein provide users with a fast and efficient way for identifying scenes for editing purposes. At least one embodiment is a method for searching media content based on identification data embedded in an editing file. The method comprises receiving the editing file and extracting identification data from the editing file, wherein the identification data is uniquely associated with particular media content. The method further comprises searching one or a plurality of media content based on the identification data and identifying matching media content, performing a secure download of the identified media content, and performing playback of the media content based on special effects specified in the editing file, wherein the media content is unmodified during playback.
