Abstract: Embodiments of this application are applied to the field of terminal technologies, and provide a screen mirroring method, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. A mirroring suspension operation of a user is received, and to-be-encoded data is discarded in response to the mirroring suspension operation, so that when the user needs to suspend the screen mirroring service between a screen casting device and a display device, the to-be-encoded data can be discarded by simply performing the mirroring suspension operation on the screen casting device.
Abstract: Module compressing/encoding plural images for recording, or an image recording apparatus or image recording system including the module. At least two first and second image input module types capture an image of frames from a video signal source, and convert into digital image data for output; an image input arbitration module arbitrates to place digital image data provided by the first type before digital image data provided by the second type. The first type image input module is provided with a real-time image. The apparatus or system further includes: a memory module temporarily storing the real-time image by a processing time for the arbitration module to process digital image data provided by the second type of image input module, an image encoding module compressing and encoding the digital image data, and changing a processing speed to perform a process of compression and encoding more in real time.
Abstract: In encoding a sequence of frames, a linear transform, such as, for example a wavelet transform, is applied to the sequences of frames on a frame-by-frame basis. At least one portion of a linearly transformed frame thus obtained is encoded in the inter mode on the basis of a differential representation of the linearly transformed frame. The differential representation corresponds with a difference between, on the one hand, the portion of the linearly transformed frame and, on the other hand, a representation of a corresponding portion of at least one other linearly transformed frame. Data compression is then applied to the differential representation of the portion of the linearly transformed frame.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for language-agnostic subtitle drift detection and correction. A method may include determining subtitles and/or captions from media content (e.g., videos), the subtitles and/or captions corresponding to dialog in the media content. The subtitles may be broken up into segments which may be analyzed to determine a likelihood of drift (e.g., a likelihood that the subtitles are out of synchronization with the dialog in the media content) for each segment. For segments with a high likelihood of drift, the subtitles may be incrementally adjusted to determine an adjustment that eliminates and/or reduces the amount of drift, and the drift in the segment may be corrected based on the drift amount detected. A linear regression model and/or human blocks determined by human operators may be used to otherwise optimize drift correction.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to improvements relating to power, latency, bandwidth and/or performance issues relating to GPU processing/caching. According to one embodiment, a system includes a producer intellectual property (IP) (e.g., a media IP), a compute core (e.g., a GPU or an AI-specific core of the GPU), a streaming buffer logically interposed between the producer IP and the compute core. The producer IP is operable to consume data from memory and output results to the streaming buffer. The compute core is operable to perform AI inference processing based on data consumed from the streaming buffer and output AI inference processing results to the memory.

Abstract: A system for interacting with a video includes a processor, a video decoder communicatively connected to the processor, a storage communicatively connected to the demultiplexer, the storage contains at least one video file having more than one video frame, at least one of the video frame including at least one respective metadata segment of the video frame, and an input device communicatively connected to the processor. The processor, responsive to the input device, processes the at least one of the video frame including the at least one respective metadata segment, controlling selection of another of the more than one video frame for the video decoder.
Abstract: A method for initializing a recording medium on which data is recorded in compliance with the AVCHD standard is proposed. Under a root directory of partitions, an ICB and FIDs for each directory contained in a directory structure defined by the AVCHD standard are recorded with consideration of information on child directories. Thereafter, an SBD and a metadata bitmap file are recorded in a partition and also, an LVIS is recorded on the basis of information, such as the number of sectors used as a result of recording the ICBs and the FIDs of all the directories and the total number of directories.
Abstract: Apparatus and method for reproducing texts in a digital video device, are discussed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes automatically selecting a text conversion table for the digital video device, and reproducing text data stored on a recording medium using the selected text conversion table.
Abstract: A first video file managed by a first directory having a DVD standard and a second video file which has High-resolution are recorded on optical disc. Reference information in order to refer to said second video data is recorded in said first video file. This makes it possible to store video data by a different compression method on the standard DVD disc as well as standard DVD video data.
Abstract: The present invention relates to method for recording program specific information (PSI) for a recorded data stream in an optical disk such as a high-density digital versatile disk (HD-DVD) and providing the recorded PSI to a presenting device such as a digital television. This method writes program or stream specific information in a management data recording area of a high-density disk, and when the recorded data stream is reproduced, determines whether it is time to send the stream specific information, obtains stream specific information corresponding to a stream object being reproduced, or to be reproduced based on the determination result, and transmits the obtained stream specific information.

Abstract: A PC-based system for monitoring and storing representative images from video cameras may be utilized for security or other monitoring applications. Camera inputs from digital or analog sources are individually and independently digitized and displayed at a first set of image sizes, sampling rates, and frame rates, and may be stored in digital form on various recording media at a second set of image sizes, sampling rates, and frame rates, and these two sets of sizes and rates may or may not be identical. Provisions are included for adding detection or alarm systems which will automatically alter image size, sampling rate and/or frame rate of an individual input source, or activate other physical responses. In addition to security system monitoring, further applications of the invention are disclosed for process monitoring in manufacturing environments and also for applications in videoconferencing.
