Abstract: A device/method for automatically positioning urine, which determines the position of the urine according to a temperature result scanned by a non-contact temperature sensor, and calculates point coordinates of the position of the urine in a toilet. The device/method includes one or more positioning assemblies with each having the sensor, a stepping motor, and a motor frame, with the sensor being fixed to a main shaft of the stepping motor, the stepping motor being fixed to the motor frame, and the motor frame configured to be fixed to the toilet. The device/method are configured for use with toilets so that the position of the urine is determined by temperature scanned by the sensor, and the urine sample is absorbed in the air as a health analysis sample, preventing cross-contamination between, urine samples absorbed from inner surfaces of the toilet and improving the accuracy of the health data analysis.

Abstract: System and methods are provided for initiating a cell culture. The systems and methods include a first enclosure containing a thermal mass positioned on a surface area of a platform. The systems and methods include a second enclosure, containing a culture fluid and a gas mixture, placed on the first enclosure such that the first enclosure is positioned between the second enclosure and the platform. The systems and methods further include a cover secured on the second enclosure, and generating first thermal energy on the surface area of the platform and second thermal energy from the cover.

Abstract: A portable thawing unit for heating animal fluids and cells (stored in straws) includes a main casing for holding water therein. A lower body secured to the main casing includes a battery pack and plug for recharging the battery pack. An upper body secured to the main casing allows at least one straw to enter the main casing for immersion in the heated water. A heating element and thermistor heat the water in the main casing to a desired temperature. A straw rack unit having at least one straw shaft holds straws and allows them to be lowered and raised. A motor powered by the batter pack runs a propeller that helps mix the water. The thawing unit does not allow straws in the main casing to contact each other, allowing, for example, 95 to 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit water to better contact the straws and heat them more efficiently.

Abstract: The formula preparation device comprises a housing within which a reciprocating semi-cylindrical closed ended sleeve is located. The sleeve, in conjunction with a semi-cylindrical concavity in a cover of the device, produces a cylindrical cavity within which a formula bottle is horizontally agitated, while being heated to provide a warmed, agitated bottle of formula.
