Electro-optical Element Patents (Class 396/262)
  • Patent number: 11558536
Abstract: A camera device includes an optics unit and a sensor unit releasably connectable to each other, and an electronic accessory releasably connectable to the optics unit by means of a threaded fitting associated with a rotation axis, wherein the optics unit comprises optics unit connectors, which in an assembled state of the camera device each is aligned and in contact with an associated electronic accessory connector of the electronic accessory thereby forming an electric connection between the electronic accessory and the sensor unit via the optics unit, wherein the optics unit connectors and the associated electronic accessory connectors form a first group consisting of at least one optics unit connector and associated electronic accessory connector arranged for power transfer and a second group consisting of at least one optics unit connector and associated electronic accessory connector arranged for signal transfer.

  • Patent number: 9197820
Abstract: A lens apparatus includes an aperture stop unit that adjusts light intensity, a terminal configured so that a voltage is applied in a state of connecting to an image pickup apparatus, a drive circuit that drives the aperture stop unit, and a controller that controls the drive circuit, the controller controls the drive circuit in a drive mode that drives the aperture stop unit from a first position to a second position without driving the aperture stop unit to an open position.

  • Patent number: 7002632
Abstract: The object of this invention is to increase the precision of an exposure value in a scan AE scheme. To achieve this object, an image is picked at a plurality of exposure values. Screen-split brightness values and exposure value differences are obtained for the respective exposure values. Two screen-split brightness values and exposure value differences are selected from the relationship between the exposure value differences. A brightness value is calculated from the selected values to decide an exposure value in actual exposure.

  • Patent number: 5797050
Abstract: A real-time, optical, nonlinear attenuator device situated in the image plane of an ocular of special construction provides a highly sensitive, broad spectral band, selective, glare reduction ocular. This system is suitable for the eye or camera which is directed at scenery with illumination ranging from that of a room interior to outside daylight. Special adaptations from spatial light modulator technology and modifications of optical power limiter art increase the nonlinear attenuator device sensitivity to bright light by orders of magnitude over that in current systems using known passive, optical, nonlinear materials. The ocular concept includes an input lens which gathers more light rays than can pass to the eye in order to further enhance nonlinear sensitivity, contains places for filters, operates with either an absorption-promoting or scattering nonlinear device in the intermediate image plane, corrects image inversion and provides embodiments for transmissive or reflective operation.
